looking for some help getting back into the table top game, its been a long time and me and my friend who played back in the day dont remember how. we have books(likely out dated) and mini's and maps and stuff. anyone know anywhere that hosts games or anyone who feels like giving a crash course or adding to their gaming pool of people willing to play. feel free to contact me.

I live in Winnipeg, but do not know how to play yet... aside MegaMek. I know there are two guys over on the battletech board game forums. Lyran Archer and Lord Cameron and pretty sure this guy is as well Phell I was to learn through them, but sadly due to reason in life i was not able to get away to games to learn to play.

I mostly know the fluff... and more so the clan fluff

Keep in contact, I am trying to find time to get in a game. Not that I fully know how to play lol. Only played MegaMek so far. Also send a PM to Bren on these forums he is from WPG as well.

No problem. If you have FB, feel free to click my link and add me. I would love to find time to get a real game going with people . I mainly just deal with my toddlers lately haha. I have 7 IWM omnimechs on their way soon., to go with my three others, plus Kodiak and 2 points of Elementals.

nice, i dont even know what i have anymore, there were 40 or so mechs at least. and will keep you updated for sure. i dont facebook that much, but i will add you either way.

I remember when I first started collecting/painting minis. I have a couple of regiments at LEAST now, plus aerospace and combined arms. Living in a small town means not having a lot of people into this game, but I'm still trying to recruit my friends.

its hard, they are so into fps console tea bagging stuff that turn based paper and pencil stuff is to much for them. i love turn based tactics. more intresting

Yeah I cannot find a Winnipeg Battletech group via facebook, be pretty interesting... It seems like a good possibility we have a decent sized BT population in the 'Peg.
