The son of a well-to-do mercenary is nothing more than another fat bag of loot for a Bandit King, provided the pirates didn't have to scrape him out of his cockpit.

Unfortunately, if Morgan Kell hasn't gotten a ransom demand by now, there's about as much of a chance for Phelan Kell coming out of the Periphery alive as there is for Kerensky's lost legions suddenly returning to restore the Star League. Tough luck, kid.

Oh you silly clanners, forgetting how many IS pilots won Clan names, or respect, or returned from the IS too old to fight and won that honor back too.

In fact, the only thing the Clans really had were superior line soldiers and tech. When it came to heroes, most of the badasses were in the IS.
