Considering I was 3 in 1985, no, the vintage of that pic doesn't make me feel old. My busted knees, bad eyes and carpal tunnel, on the other hand...

A bit. I didn't find battletech for another 4 years from there, but '93-99 were my peak BattleTech/Mechwarrior years.

Back in the Days....but wrong Mechs. The original Box got paper cards as Mechs inside. Or there are differents Box Versions in the EU and the US?

just reminds me of back in the days. Still have all those mini's and books.lol by hte way the minis were a box set you could buy. also have the camoflauge guide they had out about different units from back then somewhere .

I didn't discover Battletech until '90. Got told all the time I was spoiled because I started with 3050 tech.

my starter pack had paper mechs too.....but as Blane said, there was a add-on box with those plastic mechs...
