Wasn't the original CTF supposed to be something like a Marauder's right arm and legs, a Shadow Hawk's left arm, and a Phoenix Hawk's torso with a Shadow Hawk's torso gun jammed into it? It'd be cool to see an actual FrankenMech prototype of the 'Phract, especially since now Catalyst has done a FrankenMech (complete with record sheet!) before in an XTRO.

Thats the original CTF-1X design from the Liao House-book. It was later adjusted once they realized that a AC10 has no room in the center torso.

Right, I really don't know how it could make it into the book that way. But I for myself like the art of the original design way more then the revised one.

You gotta remember that back when FASA had people writing stuff, nobody communicated well with each other, so consistency (and subsequent errata) usually went totally out the door. It was awful.

There's a slightly different record sheet for the CTF-1X in Catalyst's RS: 3039, iirc. Torso gun got shifted right.

Well, I'm in for the game. And the Cataphract will be out (yay!).

More of a Battletech (mini) )game player. I played the old Crescent Hawks game when I was in the Army and MW2, but never did any online play.

I'd really like to be in the 15th Dracon and I'm curious as to whether it will be classified as a Merc or House unit. Technically it's merc, but when the CCAF has held your contract since the 1SW and the unit will become part of the "Citizen's Honored" brigade in the next decade....

Clash of egos and some drama that was just not what I get into the game for. I just want to be in a Fire Support lance and do up images to help promote my buds. I'll head on over to the website and fill out a form.
