This link http://www.newegg.co...s%20gun%20mouse shows a "gun mouse" that seems to be designed for first person shooters. Anyone tried this thing before?

Mods, sorry if I'm not supposed to use links. Please delete if this isn't allowed.

Looks really uncomfortable. Also, because it gives the impression of a real gun handle, I'd be constantly fighting the urge to raise/lift it off the mousemat to aim directly at the screen, if you follow my meaning.

Definitely not something I'd be interested in.

It looks like a neat idea. I may have to pick one up to try with MWO and also autocad at work.

edit: I have to wear wrist braces when I use a regular mouse thanks to carpal tunnel. I think the shape might help with wrist pain.

Intriguing idea, looks in the video more useful than I'd imagined. I'd prefer to buy local so I could wrap my fingers around it first, try it out. At $30 in the US it might be worth trying sight-unseen, but at $70 here in Canada..mmmmnope.
If you get your hand(s) on one let us know your findings.

Seems like a novel idea but I can't understand how it would function in an actual gaming situation.

That is strange since Canadian Dollars were worth more than ours now. I bet half of Canada is still shocked, lol.

Eh, I only took a few minutes to look through reviews, but pretty much every reviewer has complained about a lack of precision and also the device itself being too small for most men's hands.

Ew, I'll stick to my Razer Naga kthxbai, seriously I prefer the adaptability achievable with my mouse, I don't need an awkward gun mouse. Cool find though!

You're probably MUCH better off getting a joystick because you're going to have a lot of other functions that you'll want native support for in something besides a keyboard.

Never know. Might even be better than the mouse. Nothing has to be broke to be improved upon. Of course you'll never know if you don't try. The horse wasn't broke either when the automobile was made.....just sayin' .
