You can be recruited into clans/ factions yes, but some are more elite than others and require you to have more skills such as many years experience. I'm sure there are many different allegiances one can join, ranging from those who are newcomers to those who are indeed legendary. Sometimes, like in my case, you might get recruited because of your choice of icon. Other times you can post on some different threads, read about the groups, decide on who you want to try and play with and update your profile accordingly. Sometimes you'll get invited, sometimes you have to request. In game play however, might be a little different when it comes to this.

It says right there in blue letters that u can download now. If not, you must check your profile.

Most likely you have a case of 'PENDING'-itis, which can be immediately cured by purchasing any of the Founder's Packs currently for sale (immediate access to Closed BETA).

Otherwise it's random kick of the server by He Who Must Not (paul) Be Named....!

Hey guys, wet nose here eagerly awaiting the release. My older brother got me into battletech when we were kids. First started playing with Mech 2 Mercs and have waiting for years for something new to come out.

Just wanted to drop a line and say hi to everyone. Hopefully I'll be working with some of you guys in the future, under contract of course Hope to get picked up by the Light Horse eventually, but will probably start signing up with anyone that gets me some juicy contracts on the outter rim. Hoping to scavenge some Star League stuff if possible. Prefer long range weapons, and energy based weapons mostly. I'll take heat over ammo. Hope the MRBC doesn't register me as bandit though, I'll work for whoever's paying. So you might be handing me C-bills one day, and a fist full of auto cannon the next.

Try using the beta forum, as the testers won't answer you here (NDA and stuff).

From what I read around, if you received the mail saying that you got a beta key, it's where the good old "pending" was?

Hey there all,
New to the site, and waiting for access to the beta...
I can't wait to get my grips on this game, I have been in awe of everything I have seen.
