Looks like the news spotlight today is finally heading into the Federated Suns.
Zolfo's an important natural resource world that's been a backwater for some time. This crash is a disaster for their fledgling economy and will set back Duchess Wilzon's efforts to improve the quality of life for her citizens for decades to come.
Also, if you want to learn about the Mule, you can find that information over here. It's a common cargo hauler throughout the Inner Sphere.

Is it wrong to think it must have been a pretty awesome sight to see? I mean, poor people of the planet and all who are set back in their efforts to improve their quality of life, but man, what a blaze that would be.

That's fire caused by gas station explosion or possibly by F-18 crash (4,9 tons of fuel, more or less), let your imagination to draw the picture of 8500 tons (max Mule's load) of petroleum exposion. That would be a fire at least 1700 times larger.

Ooops we missed targeting that thing on the military compound. I'll have to execute another batch of Mask operatives. Oh well......
