if you could lag shoot, it was a monster, especially with MFB refitting fluid flushes. if you missed...it was dangerous since you couldnt dissapate heat at all hardly.

Iron Barbarian - It's a big mech that goes fast, has a giant mace, triple strength myomer, and has a near max amount of hardened armor and has armored internal components (denoted with (A) making it stupid hard to kill:
Phantasm on F-ing crack, a variant of a ridiculously fast scout that I made reach the completely stupid speed of over 240kph
Urbanmech X-TREME, a quad version of the urbie I put together specifically to cram a heavy gauss rifle into it:
******** EYE LASERS, a mech that I designed for the exclusive purpose of being able to shoot laser beams out of its eyesL
EDIT:
Oh and how can I forget the Zhuge, a 35 ton mech that I build to be an artillery cannon with legs. And by artillery I mean artillery - the one that fires counting by maps, not hexes. Also has stealth armor and is C3 capable:

You could put 5 gauss rifles on an Annihilator though:

Techbase: Inner Sphere Level 3
Weight: 100
Gyro: Heavy Duty (8.5 tons)
Walk: 2
Run: 3
Heat Sinks: 15 double
Armour: Hardened at 38.8 tons (!)
Internal: Reinforced at 20 tons (!)
Weapons: ERPPCs x 3.
With that hardened armour and reinforced internal structure, this machine is literally a walking tank. Unbearably costly to produce. We used it to test our personal custom mechs against, as a mobile target that could shoot back. Ironically, it lasted much longer than any of our standard designs, because it could soak up so much firepower. I mean, the hardened armour everywhere meant that a Gauss Rifle only did 4 points of actual damage, instead of 15. And forget the lower classes of lasers and machineguns, and even missiles. Those wouldn't even dent. It was totally unfair, but completely legal.
I don't suggest trying to reproduce it unless you want to be called all kinds of names, cheap being the loudest.

Also tried to make some Marian Hegemony mechs with an assortment of rocket launchers. Tended to only be effective firing from water but they were extremely fun.

MW4 Diashi No armor, no engine loaded to bear with as many lbx 20s as i could fit, then the rest of the space with lbx 10s cause of the firing delay they hit as two separate hits ignoring the one shot nerf. soaked the single shot from enemies at close range and one shotted them back, usually the second guy got me...sometimes it took a couple of them...
Artillery becon mechs...High explosives cougar with full speed before the one shot nerf...played through the campaign in the instant action menu with that fit for ***** n giggles while invuln was on. was interesting...damn defense missions...
PPC boat in mw3 forget the mech, get in close to one guy, shoot his buddy and blow them both up when my core melts down. leaves nice craters all over the battlefield too...

Sir. You have my admiration and fear. If you rigged up a mech in-game for this game with that kinda firepower, I hope to heck you're on MY side..and have a TC so no shots stray in my direction. *shudders*
Next best thing to a full on continental Siege tank, isn't it?

What's your weirdest, or most unorthodox build you've made guys?
MW2: GBL
Stone Rhino (100t)
Then I done the same as you. Packed full of MG's with ammo. Ripped through everything in training in seconds.
