So this afternoon, my team came across a Trial Atlas pilot who deliberately teamkilled 2-3 of our guys at the start of the match.

To make matter worse, he was all proud of it, trolling me and a few others with the classic "umadbro". Apparently he is not in the slightest concerned about being banned either since new accounts can be easily made (in the case of Account Ban) or that he's got DHCP (for IP bans).

Is there any actual solutions to deliberate TKing?

Write a support ticket to support@mwomercs.com. I think we're talking about the same person here.

Hi.
I want to report "<censored>" as a team killer. He just
one-shotted (how that?) three of my team mates with his Atlas a
couple of minutes ago.
regards,
<myrealnamehere>

Thats the link to the disussion that might interest you.

4 man Premades are max for the next coming two weeks (according to dev post), so unless you time your drops with others (what is discussed in that thread) you WILL ALLWAYS have PUG's in group.

That could be 1 way after Matchmaking Phase 2.

But realistically speaking, at the very least, there is no avoiding PUGing for new players.

Yeah, for 2 weeks. The problem will still be there for any PUGers. Just now, Premades are getting some of the same grief PUG teams have always had to deal with and continue to have to deal with.

A griefer essentially loses nothing by getting banned. He can easily create a new account and continue.

A regular player that have accumulated resources and potentially spent real money on the game, stand to lose all of that if they get banned for retaliating.

This means that griefing carries essentially no penalty, but defending yourself from it does.

It's a very difficult problem to solve because of how the free-to-play model works.

PUGs will always be the majority. Your obvious answer may help a few individuals escape the problem, but it does nothing for the game as a whole.

There is no real solution in a free to play environment when people can just make a brand new account was kinda my point. You can either join a team or take risks with PUG folks. And FYI, I currently 100% PUG so I am well aware of the problems but it is quite rare that such things actually happen.

Wait, I thought it was those horrible nasty mean Premades that were harassing those innocent PUGs? Now I'm hearing that in fact the PUGs are really the offenders most of the time - not to mention, most of them are still getting creamed even without going up against the dreaded8-man premade.

Who knew.

Rule #1 of the internet: Don't feed the trolls. Report them, ignore them, don't even talk to them.

Thinking about that, even this thread is giving Mr. Teamkiller too much attention.

Funny thing, that. I told them, "Despite what I do for people in this community, I'll never be noticed for it, but what I will be remembered for is this one solitary span of trolling."

Naw, I don't think that's true, there has to be at the very least, a few individuals who think otherwise right?

You very clearly did not make that point in your initial response.

Reminds me of when me and the boys were TKing peeps at the end of closed beta. Boy, did we get ban threats from all the PUGs...

Funny thing, that. I told them, "Despite what I do for people in this community, I'll never be noticed for it, but what I will be remembered for is this one solitary span of trolling." We laughed. And then today, I find someone in a match:

"Weiland. Aren't you the guy that was TKing people just like yesterday or something?" If only I could get them to remember the date correctly, I'd be a freaking prophet.

ahh, I feel with you Weiland.

T'is the same in RL for me, people will allways remember the nude pictures I made when I was 18. No matter how many clothes I put on or how serious I try to look.

no...wait...did I say that?

Might of ran into him as well, I had a friendly trial Atlas-k try to leg m my ERPPC K2. I just killed him though. My rule is 3 hits and you die. I warned him never to try to TK because 15k isn't much of a penalty and most wouldn't be worried about it. Guess some people don't have the same policy I do. I have little tolerance for stuff like that.

we had one of those a few days ago... we collectively hunted him down... he didn´t seem to be very happy about that^^ ( he also didn´t manage to kill one of us, we reacted too quick)

if you see someone shooting teammates ON PURPOSE more than once, call him out, even in the ALL chat, and give him a collective punch in the face... make him primary target, if he is on the other side in your match...

we shall not tolerate this behaviour in our community... spread the word ;)

Not really. I try to help out new players quite often, but I rarely hear of it. The only people who tend to see me in a positive manner these days are the dudes on Comstar Relay EU. You all know who you are. ;)

I was in this match as well. The guy started his abuse and first TK with "Boom head-shot". As stated earlier, when I urged others to report him he boasted about it being a free game and he will simply make a new account and do it again.

I reported him and suggested they IP track his account. There is nothing else as a player we can do, the ball is firmly in PGI's court.

Ruined the match for both teams tbh.
