Wow so many names that used to be on the bottom of my steel foot. It's amazing that some of you will still have the ordacity to use the same handle. >VBG<

I have to agree that MPBT was by far the best online community that I have ever experienced. From SSW to SLL, the competition was so fierce and so much fun. You would think with all the advancement hat has been made that we would have found something that could be *** exhilarating MPBT. I hope this brings back some of those feelings. Was nothing like walking into a room and seeing 4 top-notch members from any team, man the way my heart would start beating fast, so classic!!!! Let me see if I can get in touch with !****** Scavenger and see if I can get him to come post.

That is all Resume Carnage }C{

I played on Genie in 94, tried out MPBT3025 and I definitely like the game world in the Genie version better where you had to use credits to buy mechs and are able to enlist for the different houses or choose to play as a merc. I found the MPBT3025 version was too dumbed down. For the other genie users please correct me if I'm wrong but were the house leaders ran by players? If I recall correctly I bribed someone from one of the houses a few hundred million credits to gave me one of the top four ranks in the house after running a Merc crew for a while. Still have some fond memories of that game, but its been a while.

I beta'd 3025 with my friends, all of us running with House Liao. Man, that game still brings back great memories and I was so disappointed to see it go. I used to have the actively-updated Inner Sphere map as my Windows desktop background so I could keep tabs on borders and hop in if there was trouble brewing. That game also gave me some respect for the AC10 Urbanmech variant as we all managed to take down way better mechs with long-range sniping.

Jonathan Paine of House Liao. Remembering the good old days of jump jetting over some poor dopes alpha strike. Twisting in mid air and placing a sequence of laser shots in his back. Mmm, *boom*

Miss my javelin!

Good to see as the days go on, the more old timers we see showing up.

When I started Genie and moved onto Kesmai/Aol/Gamestorm 3025 etc etc

I was just a pup newbie private with a lot of zeal.

Liao House Leaders, Blackwidow, Mao Zedong, some of the commanders, Tatsu, Beck, Jcutama and Icefire took me under their wing and taught me the ins and outs of the game and lore.

We have since Lost ICEFIRE and MAO but their friendships and memories will live on in our hearts and minds.

I am hoping MWO will bring people that we have all not seen in 10 years back into the light to renew old friendships and forge new ones.

Thanks to PGI and IGP's vision.....this looks like reality, and not a dream!

Salute to you all.

K-wa Brewer!

Old Callsign: Magnus,
Originally of the 22nd Rasalhague Regulars, followed by the 9th Sword of the Dragon.

MPBT was the most fun I've had in an online community. Well that and Airwarrior on Kesmai, nothing like flying a B-17 full of friends and seeing if you could loop it without killing them all.

Fingers crossed they take some inspiration from Solaris and 3025. I'd love an overworld. If they don't put it in, I'm sure we'll set one up for ourselves.

Played the heck out of MPBT: 3025 back in the day!

I remember we played House Liao, but I don't remember our company name. I THINK I used the same callsign...

Can't wait.

MPBT:3025 was probably my favorite MechWarrior game besides MW2:Mercs (where I was first introduced to the game and on-line gaming).

Callsign was (and always will be) Havoc.

Wonder if I'll get accused of running an auto-aim hack in this game too. . . .

I played 3025 for a while. No idea what my callsign was back the, though, but most likely ShadowXP or something like that.

Oh my ***. 21-0. LOL. I can still see Rygat screaming in all caps.

I don't really keep up with anyone from the old days (although I wish I did). I heard about this from Paladin Brewer. After him, Dark Wolf, Baron Night, Kerensky, and Trygon/Wolf/Kell are the only people I still have on my AIM buddy list. I'll try to contact all of them. We definitely need Rygat, Merl', RW and SF. Looks like Morgan is here. You guys still talk to Acester, Pepe, Cool Cat, Redline & Hobbes, etc. from CHs? BN or Merl' probably know how to get Starhawk. Yyrkoon is here so I'm sure Raeven will be too soon. Anyone from HoS here? Dave, Rab? Pacer from Golden Horde? Maybe Dark Wolf knows how to get a hold of Truthstar and Stalker. If we get Pacer, Merl', Rab, Wolf, Truthstar and Stalker on these forums maybe we can ignite some of the flame wars of old, lol.

I'd love to talk to Darkness, Spectre, Tasmin, SuperNova, Legend Killer, Poison Ivy, Smith and Smitty again. Rabbit and Stephen. Legend/Sublime. Calis, Krait, Stryker from 9thSword, ***, okay, let me stop before I just start listing everyone I can remember. LOL.

Wow, nice roll call Sam.

I've always been Roland Tseng. Back on Solaris I ran Bold Marauder stables. I've forgotten how many times I caught my opponent's attention by pegging them front & center from outside the long range line with my AC2 (this is, of course, because my memory sucks... not by necessity because I did it a lot :) ).

To the OP, I'm with you! MPBT 3025 is still my favorite online game of all time. Needless to say I'm pretty excited about MWO. The fact that it's set in my favorite Battletech era is just icing on the cake!

MPBT 3025 was some of the most multiplayer fun I ever had. Psyched to see them trying again.

House Marik, can't for the life of me remember what unit though.
