Never ordered from them, but they are the main producer of CBT minis atm.

Find yourself a 3D-imaging program like Blender, and send your 'Mech design to Shapeways

Get them to print it up for you in steel.

I've ordered from them a few times.
*Hides the near Regiments worth of minis still unpainted*
Good customer service, some sculpts do look bad, they used to have Fan Funding until that was on hiatus due to way too many sculpts in the pipe at the moment.
They are a small company as in if there's 20 people or so I'd be shocked.
Turn around time for their orders are within the week typically.

Thier forum support is now the Battletech Forums: http://bg.battletech...board,33.0.html

Apparently they spent more time on those forums instead of their own they just stopped supporting their forums and moved in. There may have been other factors, but fact is I've actually been able to get them quicker on the Battletech forums than theirs.

The archiving fee for some designs is an extra $8 but only for the first sculpt. This means if you pick up two of the same mini you'll only pay that $8 fee once, not twice.

For cheaper you can go with Ebay of course, or better yet, check out Bartertown.com, its a trading forum dedicated to mostly miniature games. I trade there a fair bit and always check up new BT listings in case there is anything that strikes my interest. Its a good forum but seems to be on a slow server so expect some slow loading times, but well worth it.

Best bets are Iron Wind Metals and E-bay. Iron Winds has every thing but the unseen pretty much. E-bay you may find unseen and can get some pretty good deals. Watch the S/H though. Also check out Camospecs.com to see whats out there.
