[FETTY WAP]

I was wondering why we are only able to pick these insignias, instead being able to upload different avatar pics?

Will we be able to-is just not implemented yet?

Currently these are the playable factions within the game and the login/forum account is tied with your in-game pilot account.

As they add more factions you can bet they will add more factions avatars.

MechSpecs uses the same system although we added the fan-made factions that allow a user to select what House their Merc company is loyal to.

I'm actually semi-interested in this one, cause I'd love to use my Insignia as my forum avatar. Do you think there is a possibility (This not being a confirmation nor a denial, but more of a personal answer) that if custom Insignias are implemented within MWO (my suggestion being as a paid upload w/ approval for merc units/house units (a.k.a. ingame clans) usable by the members), that we'd be able to use that as our forum avatar?

There has been hints of Tools to allow such things. How extensive is yet TBD.

Im fairly sure this topic has been covered in the technical advice - website topic board. they have said that avatars will directly correlate to your ingame character you create. so for the forseeable custom logos probably wont happen for quite a while.
