I'm still puzzled why they are making this f2p anyway? With the money they're making on founders packs I think it's pretty clear people are willing to pay for what looks to be a very nice update to the mechwarrior series. The way I see this whole "I became a founder first and am special thing" is that you are getting your money back easily in game perks.... so moan all you want but at the end of the day you'll get your moneys worth. It is a bit shady for them to do what they're doing, but they are a business so I think you all have a bit too high of ethical expectations. At the end of the day they've invested a f-ton of money to develop this game and recouping some of the investment money early on to either pay back or to increase the game budget is just a good business decision. You all know they have a monopoly on the only new game in our beloved battletech universe and you will play it either way... so stop whining. Additionally for all we know there is also the possibility that they have not sold as many founders packs as they intended and the extension is to make up for that, unless someone out there has some stats from the inside...? In which case the greed assumption is completely invalid. In any case, we should be glad there is something new to play and cheer the developers for bringing this game to life for us.

Well they delayed the Open Beta so delaying the Founders expiration makes sense. But at this point it looks like the Founders will actually run past the Open Beta, effectively meaning anyone will be able to "try before you buy"... not really a bad thing though as many people simply won't invest, even for a Veterans, before actual gametime. It was never really fair that they expected you to blindly invest 30$ or more before even being able to touch the game. If they run it past Open Beta however, you'll be able to actually play then decide if you want to invest or not.

I have been seeing a lot of banner ads lately about the MWO Founders offer ending soon.

Simply put, I pleased enough and excited about this game that I have up graded from Veteran to Elite!
Remember guys that this game is still in Beta, which in no means assures a perfect game until it goes either
open beta or final release.

Often big changes in code cause issues. So just stay calm, stick with the program and have patience.

Any one else haveing probelms with buying a founder account right now? Both paypal and credit card purchase was kicked back. Canncealed by them as I have plenty of funds in either account. I seen this before in the past when there is maintance or changes being done. Just wanted to get in before the 14th mark to test the game with some other friends I have Beta tested on other games with.

I actually read that when the Open beta was set for the 14th, the Founders packs were going to end today.

If the Founders packs are no longer availible then WHY is the founders link still up on in game home page???!
I've been trying to get this purchased this since Friday and keep getting kicked when entering card info????!

My friend asked me yesterday about MWO and I convinced him to get founders. but oh wait IT"S OVER even though al teh links and advertisements are up for it.
Also I got an email 1 hour after it ended telling me it will end in 4 days (back dated 4 days before closure) LOL
