Been playing since tabletop, late 80s. I was an active player on the original MPBT, as Sho-Sa Oakenbow, House Kurita.
Since I am father to two of them, my 'timmy' tolerance is extremely low, I come to games to get away from the noise.
Please, by all means, count my arse in.

Age 27.
First contact with the BT Universe - when Battletech boardgame 1st edition was translated to Polish (about 1993).
First contact with Mechawarrior series - MW2.
And I'm not to old to play for sure...

I got a 1604 behind me and an intimate knowledge of the medium laser to add to the cause.

But more importantly, it is the younger crowd which could benefit from House Kurita. As a dad, I follow the #1 Rule of Dad - its not whether you win or loose, its how you play the game. Thats really not that far from the ideal of bushido, and if we're playing this as a House, rather than merely a vidya game with robits, we should have that aspect. My banner below translates to honor, duty and courage - lessons that can be taught even here. Now, the interpretation of this may be subject to debate - I dont accept surrenders, because what fun is that? But neither do I cheat, and when I talk smack, I (try) to do so in-character. If for nothing else, maybe we teach these kids not to be as awful as they are in other online games, which is a win in my book.
