I know a few of you here overlap into the flight sim community. For those who haven't already read it, I'd like to recommend In Pursuit: A Pilot's Guide to Online Air Combat by Johan Kylander. Obviously it's a drastically different battlefield, but the mindset is still spot on. A free pdf version is available, which I recommend unless you are also a combat flight sim player. For a good laugh, also check out his Book of Noob. Check 'em both out on pilot press.

I'm only at page 12 atm, but so far, it's quite the nice read.

Edit: Finished now. Indeed, quite good. I wouldn't say it's a must read for every mechwarrior, but it's pretty close.
