I think aside from the hillarious look of an antropomorphic Tiger climbing out of an Catapult it would be rather impractical to be a furry riding a Warmachine that gets literally *HOT*. The poor creature would quickly dy by the waste heat in the cockpit. To make things worse coolant suits would be largely ineffective due to the isolating propertys of fluffy fur covered skin. In Addition an Battlemech can run that hot that even a human pilot can loose his/her hair because it would simply burn down. Imagine fur. No good idea.
So what would Battletech be with furrys. First each cockpit would smell like grilled dog hair and if a furry would be smart he/she would look like this:

One thinks you'd see a lot of buzz cuts and "fur tats" in the ranks, as otherwise it's deep fried furries, everywhere.

It happens when you go to college as a CIS(computer information systems) major, and operate a tally degreaser for airospace parts at the same time, the fun, kinda gets drained out of you

What do furries have to do with giant fighting robots? I don't care what furries, bronies or whatever alternate brain chemistry lifestyle you are into, we are all playing this game to pilot big freaking robots with guns! Why does every game forum need to become some emo activist playground?

>implying all furries are emo activists

Seriously. Did you actually read this topic? All of the emo types seem to be the ones going "WAAAAAH, it's a furry thread.", not the actual furries.

OK... since founders' access is already up let me ask a few questions:
1. Is there an in-game grouping feature yet? I haven't found any...
2. Does the in-game friends list work?
3. Do we have any furry-oriented (or at least furry-friendly) merc group yet?

Huh. In a completely Battletech related bit of trivia. CritterTek was made that combined the two ideas. (With an included dose of comedy) http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Critter-TEK

This thread is sill.....wait, I own that book.

Why not let the pony people post, they ARE furries just like people who are obsessed with lion king and sonic.

Quote

why all the sudden hatred?

Because furries are proven zoophiles?

The most well known furries have been proven to be zoophiles, one example I can think of off the top of my head is Wolf J Lupus who was found to be a zoophile by Anonymous and was driven out of his state where he had to move to Washington State due to the fact that having sex with animals is not illegal there. He is known within the furry community and practically one of their most celebrated figures.

Also I knew someone who became a furry in real life and owned multiple dogs and was found, later on, to be "mating" with them.

Keep this furry garbage to deviantart or fanfiction **** sites.

so because a few furs are zoophiles that makes all of us into the whole *********** thing? your logic is flawed and the image below that... bronies are not furs

edit: beast-iality is filtered?

The resurgence of mechwarrior has made me almost wish it didn't because the of the ponies but I just pray we aren't allowed/given custom skins. Outside the game I don't care I just don't like immersion to be completely destroyed whilst in game.

Honestly though when I play TF2(first game I've seen furries in) I don't really care. I play on the furry pound servers with sprays turned off but they are a fun community of people none the less here's to hoping you guys will be just as fun.
