I'll just mention the protomechs, because they're the closest canon BT will ever get to anthropomorphic animal designs.
If I was an infantryman and I saw this coming at me, I'd run like hell. 'nuff said.

Don't feel bad, this thread disappeared into the void when I disappeared it seems. Anyhow, sounds fun, and being a DM isn't that hard, just hope your party doesn't have abnormally good luck and manages to regularly beat monsters twice their CR. -_-'

We have a group of about 8 furs who plays over skype, but we lack the coordination to run an 8-man.
Turns out, the Magistracy of Canopus has surgeries to get cat-ears, there's also taur and naga.
You can read about this in A Time of War Compilation, I'm planning on picking that up once I get more monies.

I know someone who is a red gator, but is a Davion, so going by house won't work.
Anyone else's thoughts?

I really don't care that you like animal head people
I really and truly don't
I don't care if you like to see them drawn doing the nasty, nor do I care if you like dressing up as one
there is literally no good reason to shoehorn the furry fandom into battletech other than an acute case of special snowflake syndrome or a subconscious desire to get the everloving **** trolled out of you
there is no canonical support for furries in this universe (the damn Tetatae and Critter-TEK do not count)
why is it necessary to form a damn furry guild/clan/whatever in your online games other than to put a chip on your shoulders for the rest of the internet to knock off? you know you're pretty much the butt of the internet's jokes, yet you keep offering yourselves up for more belittlement and derision
this is one of the many reasons I can't stand the fandom, they have to make every single god damned thing about their hobby/fetish/anatomically implausible alter ego and they seem to deliberately invite others to heap mockery and abuse upon them
this is coming from a damned furry - quit trying to make everything about your fandom. You invite scorn and flames, and yet have the audacity to screech indignantly at those who deliver them to you.

Personally, I don't really care what the haters say about us, if they can't treat others with respect and keep their noses out of others business I'm more inclined to look down on them than those they are against.
We don't have the numbers here to have a purely furry topic, unlike the bronys, so having a focus would make it easier for the thread to actually move.
If you can suggest another furry topic, that would interest the furs who are a part of the battletech community, I'd love to hear it.
If we came to this site and made a thread for furs about, say, cars, then who's to say that it would be furs discussing it? We'd get everyone who likes cars. So we make it furry related so that we can have furs come and chat.

Well if we were to think of an alternate universe battletech, would there really be a need to determine different fur/scale/avians for each faction?
Kinda like a lot of nationalities/races mixed and matched to create the inner sphere. Given enough time there'd be en evenish distribution of all types of furs across all the factions, except for a few specific cases of course.

Gay and furry actually! Two for one deal here. Man, aren't you guys glad I told you that? I feel like I'm connected to everybody on mechwarrior on a spiritual level now. Like, this **** is deep. Like for realzies.
Also I don't really care if people "troll" this thread or myself. We're weird mother truckers man.
Well for one of these, we have a solution
For the other, we do not care much, more girls for the rest of the man
