My Mechs would all be Shes, it will be my personal harem...of death, to my foes and my bankroll. ;)

I voted it... but this mention of bankroll sapping is making me reconsider.

I called mine a "He" because I'm a biologist, and I know that males are expendable. If my Mech were a She, then I'd need an other Mech just to protect her. And if that new Mech is also a She... then things just get messy.

I'm always back and forth between "it" and some sort of feminine pronoun. It's okay though, because we treat our wenches well in Skjaldborg.

Mrs Frizzle is from a 90s kid show called Magic School bus. She is the teacher and leads them on crazy field trips of science and learning!

And no, I rarely spend time in my basement... My PC is in the living room, I enjoy being around my kids and wife... usually. Hey,. I am honest!

My Mech is my girl, just like my car which I have named after my favorite heavy mech, the Tempest.

My mech takes on the gender of the name. Guan-Yu would be He, The Widow would be a She, etc. etc.

Same with me.

Indeed. My personal weapons are all feminine (real guns) and are my mechs. Well, there is one exception...my Annihilator. For some reason I always refer to that one as "He". Interesting.

My mechs are generally "it's" actually, they're more "you" as in, "GO FASTER DAMN YOU!!!", "WTH WHY DO YOU OVER HEAT SO MUCH?!?!", "OMG WHY DO YOU KEEP CRITTING IN FORMATION!!!!?"

I think all my 'mechs are hermaphroditic, as I have noticed I use 'he' and 'she' interchangably, depending on the situation and/or unit in question.

Depends if you are the pilot or the target.

To a pilot, the mech can be a He, an old friend, the trusted brother and compatriot, or she the reliable loving girlfriend like a B-17. If you're the target, the mech is an It - inhuman foe, perhaps demonic, bringer of pain and destruction.
