exactly as stated, it is getting really old seeing all the topics that new players decide to drag back from the dead that have been buried for 2 months sometimes even up to a year. i propose that moderators lock all topics that are dead so that they stay dead and stop clogging up the front pages because some dumb noob decided they wanted to add a 4 word post to it to state their crappy opinions

Then there's the eternal cry of "Why didn't you use the search function?!?!" . "We've talked that topic over to death." And then the topics are closed not allowing anyone new to the forums contribute.

Old threads are usually only locked if they cause confusion or serve no purpose. If they are still valid discussions or concerns, there's no reason to close them simply because they are "old"

That being said, if individuals are going around resurrecting old threads for the sheer necrotic thrill of it, then there's an issue.

I would prefer to focus on helpful things like not calling other individuals new to the forums "Dumb Noobs" and they have "Crappy opinions". I'd rather have individuals who are new the forums, the Mechwarrior franchise, who are polite members of our community, then others who have been here longer who are disrespectful, rude, and generally make the forums unpleasant .

Cheers.
