Well I'll leave it up to you all, if you want to do the mugging scene, I am interested to see what happens.
I know I'm cutting off RP opportunities by fast forwarding, but I'm sure there's a few of you eager to get on with the mission. If someone wants to trigger the mugging, I'll move the RP along when you're done. Anyone wanting to do 'Eye of the Storm' posts can stick it in at the beginning of their post when responding to that. Sound good?

Go ahead with it, it'll give a bit more time for Warder to get back in the game :P

I've got a post to chuck in, but it needs to wait until Thom has finished with the Battle Magic guys, since it follows on from his outburst about Blackensburg (Blankenburg?) but Adrianna's too polite to interrupt him while he's talking with the BM guys.

She's also going to sit out any heroic rescue attempts for Alexi. She might be a fine MechWarrior, but her idea of fending off back-alley muggers lies somewhere between "call the cops", "run and hide", and "cower with mace".

Nice Regis refrence Sparky... That's if Mr Spear allows us enough time to RP a rescue..

Also finished up that bit with the BM guys for ya.

Being both bored and slightly hungover I decided to express my idea on how the PBI would react to the mugging in video format.

Someone tell me something, if you want I can poke my head out have an all clear, and we get on with it or whatever, I'm good with anything. Just posted my bit as an if the GM wants to or not, Thing. I'm really really good with "and the cartoon menace was no more", and getting on with it, cause means my happy little butt gets home safe and sound. Though, i also know the age old adage "you never wonder off alone." :(

At the moment, I'm plain and simple not comfortable writing Jason. He's an amazing character from an amazing series and I just don't have the writing ability and moxy to do it. Go ahead and do the combat, I'll attend the RTG practice on Wednesday and hope he's there to get hold of him. If I can't get hold of him by then...
Well, I'll come up with something vague enough that means he could either have joined, or not joined.

Sorry it had been so long, i felt I had to put something up. and knowing Lexi she found at least one of Jocks cute. Also figured their techs could be used anywhere and this gave the GM a chance to increase the dropship crew or even bring in a fighter escort. Lexi's no the best at this stuff you know, you might even turn them all away. Just trying to add a bit to the story.

Edit: I added the Bad Karma guy as an ode to my old Battle force unit and Tournament Paint Ball team from "back in the day" :)

Sorry mate, no fighter jocks for you, the Pinto's fighter bays are full. Feel free to recruit 'em for the next mission though :)

There's a next mission!?!?!!

Hmmm... I think the Union has a couple of fighter bays... But I'm not sure how anyone would feel with T recruiting random NPC cannon fodder. That's one reason why I'm having him recruit non-combatants.

So techs, med-techs, support staff, uhh pole (wonder if that's gonna be filtered out) dancers...

Sorry, hopefully we'll get this rolling soon. Warder may be writing his character out, so until otherwise mentioned, start wrapping up the bar scene. By the end of this weekend (I have a heap of stuff iRL tomorrow, Mother visiting on Friday...) I'll have the 'Okay everyone is on the dropship and in the briefing room now, here's the deal' post up. So you want to do anything before you go, better crank out those Walls of Text.

We have what 7-8 mechs? we could cram all those into two of the mech bays, because we're organized in lances... Put two of those fighters in the 'Pride's figher bays and tote around the another couple in the last mechbay. Then we could have a CAP and support ready within a few minitues time. Tacticly sound, but we'd have to tote the fighers around in the last mech bay strapped down and wheel them out the doors before even thinking about launching them...

That's if Mr. GM is comfortable and allows it.

Note: I never said they had fighters, just threw them out there in case the GM or Thom wanted to try for a fighter of two as the Bad Moons fighter, dropships, and jumpships were up for sale. the 5 others are all aero-techs so they are probably basic tech skilled laborers looking for work. The Bad karma guy is there because Paw Paw Thom told Lexi to look for 'Mech Jocks as well.

Okay. So you're gonna be puttin' us around on the Rorke's Drift, Fortress Class right? heehee I thought I was gonna be hitching a ride on the back of one of the warships in the 'Pride. *facepalm* the confusion is all mine, or I'm the cause of it anyways.

I could hire on the techs, no problem.
Bad Karma is a mechwarrior, correct?
The ASF pilots though... I'm guessing I could hire them to help out, but I wouldn't expect them to stay being arrogant flyboys. Now if T had more time to aquire some fighters he.. but he's already pressed for time trying to procure parts and supplies for the op. He's also waiting for a responce from Adrianna.
