You're just mad because my Mech can use your Mech as a foot rest. And besides, "Shoot it until stops moving" followed by "stomp on the smoking remains" is a perfectly valid military tactic.

Mad? Hardly. Steiner assault mechs just make great target practice, particularly with all the extra armour. In all seriousness, heavies are the way to go.

If you want to go into battle essentially naked, perhaps.

Katana* and maybe, although I would prefer to have some real firepower. Dont get me wrong, assault mechs have their place but you elsies are funny about their use.

"Their use" implies they only have one use. Quite the contrary, there is very little that can't be done with a proper(read: Lyran) Assault Mech. Urban renewal(read: demolishing entire city blocks), Engineering(read: blowing things up), Police work(read: terrifying the local populace into submission), Recycling(read: turning mechs and tanks into scrap), and countless other uses.

Medium Mechs have a Place in the Lyran Commonwealth... Just look at the Archon's Throne Room! :D :)

Weird that the Lyrans never seem to have any respect for their superbly capable Wolfhounds and Commandos...

Battle Armor are fine, but tactiacally so much more limited then a good light Zeus or a medium weight Banshee Battlemech.

I have nothing but respect for the Commonwealth's brave Battle Armor forces.

Agreed. To go into battle with nothing but a prayer is seemingly madness to the rest of us.

I respect the Wolfhound! In the first game I played where the OpFor had them... They took fire from a Warhammer, Archer, Shadowhawk and a Marauder(all Modded for max firepower) and returned fire! Have respected the chassis ever since!

Of course the Wolfhound is Steiner built! :)

Sorry about the bad formatting. The one ton of unused tonnage is reseverd for the PPC-Capacitor that I was unable to put in the mech because Solaris Skunk Werks seems not to have them implemented in their program jet.

Have fun.

Last I checked, PPC Capacitors were coded in; they're just not in the main equipment list. After allocating the criticals, you can bring up a contextual menu to add special equipment like PPC Capacitors, Laser Insulators, or armoring the component.
