....In the spirit of keeping things solely to one thread, here is your Cosplay thread; free of charge for the first 30 days. :D

So please:
-Keep it Clean
-Keep it real
-No furries
-No Ponies (sorry brony bros, but there's a thread for that...except MLP cosplay, which CAN be posted here [I hope])
-No trollin'; don't like, don't read.

To the Mods:
-I hope this doesn't cause anymore hardship than you already have. B)

No furries. But your first pic automatically broke that rule. Good job.

Working on a Dark Angels Space Marine. Totally a work in progress, I have a completed a Chaplain helmet and a Corvus helmet, am finishing a standard Astartes helmet; completed the chest piece, biceps/vambraces, gloves and two pauldrons; working on a functioning chainsword, bolt pistol, bolter, heavy bolter, lightning claw; have legs cut and ready for fibreglass.

All three helmets will have a voicebox, CPU fans, and a built-in (stripped-down) walkie-talkie, as well as a flanged plug to link up to a camelback in the backpack.

Here are some teaser pix of works-in-progress:

Would change it if I could, but the mods can do that if they so wish.

As to the other thing...it's whatevs as far as I'm concerned, more of a tribute to how this whole thing got started (in the MLP thread).

Gotta be careful. 2 years of ACEN has taught me never to oggle cosplay girls until i'm sure they're actual girls.

That being said, Power Girl was pretty awesome at C2E2

That's pretty badassky. I *REALLY* like it. Have you signed up on the Obscurus Crusade website? If not, send me a PM and I'll shoot you a few links.

My suit is made of EVA (craft) foam which is hardened with epoxy resin, and then fibreglassed several times on the outside and then once on the inside. I then add another layer of EVA foam on the inside for padding and comfort. My suit is built to withstand 400FPS .68cal paintballs. Just the armour, all together, weighs about 20 lbs total.

Nice work. You are now written in history... as the smallest gray knight ever. ;)
I once saw a video of Tau firewarrior suit, maybe I'll post it here. And MInecraft, ofc. :(

EDIT:

This is not the one I saw back in the day, but it should do. Pity I can't seem to find the old one, the details were much better.

It is really far from something like this, but it should do:

You don't have to quote the entire post, you can delete some of the stuff in the quote if you want, makes it less crowded :)

Speak of the devil. After this, my next project is a MadCat. Then either WH40K Terminator or Dreadnought.

Everyone does Mad Cats. They're too easy to make.
