09 Dec 3049 - My transfer from PDF Technician college to the Robinson Rangers came through today. Two days ago I was standing at graduation will the rest of my class, now I am writing this as the Jump Ship makes final prep before departing to Robinson. I cant believe that my instructors pulled some strings and fast tracked my application! It's still a blur, all I did was make some minor adjustments to the myonmer control systems.[/color]
12 Dec 3049 - The Robinson Battle Academy is massive, nothing like this on Blandinsville. I have spent the last 6 hours running basic training combat simulations, I can still feel the controls in my hands, like a phantom limb. My instructor, CPL Drake Morgan, says that if I impress him again tomorrow in the basic simulations, he will fast track me to the elite simulations.
14 Dec 3049 - Had some hard sessions in the simulator. The simulator tech must have taken my comment about the new female mess attendant to heart, apparently fancies her, not sure why. According to the simulation tech, every battle we will face out in the real world will be full lances of Assault Mechs or swarms of Light Mechs. After being torn apart in nearly every scenario, I thought he was going to have a swing at me when I completed the last simulation with only taking medium damage to my CN9-D left torso.
No matter, the training value was worth it, better here than on a real battlefield. Until then I am just earning my mastery badges so that when my training is complete I can be posted into a front line unit.

As for today I am looking toward you European players especially. We have a few spots to fill in our European lances that are there for the taking. We encourage team play and have at least 2 most of the times 4 or more teams dropping in Euro prime time.
We have spots for both, casual and more competitive oriented players in a really big community that has around the clock drops going on. Our TS server is highly populated at all hours, so having a sleepless night and need to face off against some Dracs... get on our TS, drop in a channel, ask for an invite and go kick ***. It could not get any simpler.
Of course K Company rocks
See you soon in the Robinson Rangers!

Commanding Officer: Major Vila DeVere
Executive Officer: Captain Leikner 'Snake' Keele
Activated on the 8th of July, 3049 under the command of Maj. Bruce "Merrick" Darious, L company was designated 'Templars' for their bravery and resistance against superior forces in their hostile, native environments. Similar to the Knights of the Crusades in ancient Terran history. Major Darious oversaw the reformation from the former H Company and training into co-ordinated lances, as determined by FedCom military requirements.
With the de-activation of M Company and the elements within it rolled into K and L, Major Darious' work was done, and he handed command over to Major Vila DeVere. Under Major Devere's command, L Company has represented themselves well at the monthly AEGIS Operation Drops in the combat simulators, managing to keep an impressive formal drop victory percentile of 100%.
OOC:-
Lima Company can generally be found online with Kilo and Mike companies in the evenings of the week, GMT. Being an EU Company, we have members from England, France, Eastern Europe, and a few Americans with flexible hours. Known for our sense of humour and easy banter, we are working ourselves towards a relaxed yet professional unit. We play for fun first, victory second. There are members of Lima Company who consider themselves Roleplayers, so other members are welcome to join in with them!

Enjoy melting enemy mechs into Molten slag while demonstrating your piloting prowess? Like working alongside experienced team members who are there for you when you need it? Then M company is for you!
Mike Company is a multi-role Company, providing opportunities for mechwarriors to do what they enjoy most, killing. Whether you prefer high-speed recon, or the simple pleasures of obliterating the enemy with overwhelming firepower from your 100-tonne assault mech, we have a place for you.
Mike company, the "illuminati" values teamwork above all else. We pride ourselves on our ability to work together, leaving no man behind while adapting to fit all battle conditions. With an active officer base with a reputation for leading from the front, we can provide the most important member of the lance, you, the chance you need to score a decisive kill. While we place a great amount of emphasis on stepping up and doing your bit on the battlefield, we never forget that we're all here to have fun. So if you're looking for a company that focuses when it needs to, but at a steady pace and usually with a... quirky... sense of humour, we're a good match.
Whether you're a fresh out of boot, or an experienced pilot in your own right, we can provide opportunities for you to get involved in a diverse community. With access to a wealth of experience and good opportunities for progression as part of our re-organisation, M Company is a worthwhile home for any new recruit to the rangers.
Interested in applying? Visit the recruitment center for more details.
M Company, we don't do battle plans.

While this is primarily a recruitment thread for MWO for the Robinson Ranger Brigade, I feel it noteworthy to mention that we don't just play MWO. For those long days that seem like any other, some of us find escape in playing many games (where we may also have an organised RRB presence) such as World of Tanks, Guild Wars, DayZ, Mechwarrior Tactics, Eve Online, just to name a few.
So if you are interested in joining a group of people that play many games together, but primarily for the purposes for piloting big stompy robots, we are the group for you.
Limited positions are left for the 5th Batt. which primarily plays from 19:00 - 23:00 in the GMT +10 timezone.
I wish you all well (cept for those Snakes) and hope to see you on the battlefield.

You use real weapons, go to one of those other companies.
We also wear purple, cause we're real men. Real men in bright purple shooting fire. Real women who also like purple and fire are also accepted.
PST me in game, forums, the robinson ranger website on the first page and together we can watch the world burn!

Dropped with two disco's in 8v8 and you all were very gracious, despite some confusion on our side as to who - specifically - one of us was to be dueling

The Rangers are a fun loving Honourable group. We don't shoot people when they surrender by shutting down and we love to duel. Good to hear that you had a good time even if you were on the opposite team

The Robinson Rangers, Crusaders (K Company) are a company predominantly made up of European pilots who strive for excellence. Within this unit you will see dedication towards honing your existing skills as a pilot and providing the means for you to take these abilities to the next level. Fun and discipline then combined in an ethic where these elements can happily co-exist in a friendly supported way.
Company times then are centered around the GMT time zone or EST +5 with a mix of European and other nationals who find this time zone more convenient for them.
Please visit the recruitment centre on the Robinson Rangers website and mention your interest in your application you wish to become a Crusader Knight.
