Missing: Atlas missile rack

Has anyone else noticed that it the new MWO trailer that the Atlas's right missile rack isn't there. In the concept art by Alex it's there so is this Atlas in particular outfitted with missiles only on the left or does the iconic 100t mech now only have one missile rack?

Its canonical possible to fire 20 missiles out of a 10 missile rack.

still looks kinda wrong ;D

It could conceivably be a different model of Atlas, after all the Hunchie in the background is a swayback without the AC20.

The original Atlas had only 5 tubes representing a LRM20, so...

the true atlas has a 5 missile rack which by the books fires 4 shots of 5 .they said at the trailer in true internal build not enough room or right side for 2 weapons in that side so i think they going to fire 2 shots from the 10

It was explained by FD that there was problems with modelling an LRM 20 out of two separate missile racks, so now you'll have 2 salvos per shot of 10 LRMs from that single rack.

Maybe there will be an option to take components like 'external' missile racks and dorsal guns off mechs for extra tonnage?

The model is the AS7-D. You see that when he fires up the machine and the display interface comes to life.

They didn't want a weapon that was in one torso section to visually occupy two sections. It wou'd have made for some weird situations when torsos got shot out or it got critted.

they could have just said "Weapon Malfunction - or weapon damage" and have half the LRMs fire. But hey - realism aside if it looks cool then I'm satisfied.
