I keep losing more and more functionality.

It'll just be the pilot graphic floating though an empty gray zone soon.

Edit: Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, no chat either... so I can't even say why I'm wandering around aimlessly and I can't get any idea where anyone is or what they're doing. (Or what names they're likely calling me.)

It's been a weird slide since yesterday... first it was the occasional no map, then no hud, then no IFF, finally no anything.

Delete it

It's in "C:\Games\Piranha Games\MechWarrior Online\USER", delete the folder marked "Shaders", and those problems will happen much less frequently (in my experience).

edit: It gets rebuilt when you launch into a game, so dun' worry about it

True story.

Someone told me to do that to get rid of the random frozen client bug a few weeks back... it didn't help (Although it stopped after a later patch) but it began the Frozen City Textures Flickering On And Off bug. I must have had old shaders from before the problem started or something.

Anyway, I do that every once in a while out of a futile hope that the previous patch may have fixed it. Whether it helps or not seems as random as anything else. I am stumped.

I came back later and played a few more rounds since I posted that, and they were bug free. What did I do to fix it? Nothing.

It's just crazy random.

Thanks for trying, though.

At least I can meme about it, makes me feel better.
