Maybe the game is not going to be released, you have to upgrade the founders pack.
Oh well.. back to BF...

Think I will spend mi money on the premium upgrade.
A few weeks after release it won't matter who bought it and who didn't. This game isn't hard to learn and the account wipes will ensure that there is no time advantage.

You all so funny.
What about skills gained in controlling Mechs and knowing your way around the cockpit controls?
What about the advantages of that?
We all know the Founders are paying for a head start
What about the little tips and tricks?
Cant set that to zero?
Anyway I'm not arguing, i'm just voicing concerns
True, we will have this by open beta, but after open beta, everything will be wiped. You'll be in the same place as the rest of us: no money, lots of skill.

If that troubles you heres a tip for you.
Find out what the controls for this game are.
Download MW4 and set that up with the same controls and play.
You could also try MWLL and do the same there.
It should give you a decent idea on how to play this game.
It will not be exactly like this, but it should still help greatly and significantly reduce that advantage.
You seem to forget one thing here.
Many players here are veterans of the MW series and have the knowledge and skills from those game.
Not all of them are in the beta now, so why are you not concerned about that?
Why does it only bother you that people in the beta will get this advantage you speak of, and not those who comes with 30 years of skills and knowledge from the other games?
And what about someone who comes to this game 6 months after the games release?
In those 6 months you would game a similar advantage to those who comes to the game 6 months after release.
They could say the exact same thing about you, that you have a 6 month advantage on them, should we reset everything every time a new player comes to the game then?
We would never get anywhere then.
I think you are overreacting here.
If you take the time to play the games I suggested above and use the same controls as here you would negate most of that advantage.

OP Does in fact have a point.
founders and persons that have been in beta for a while now will have a distinct advantage in terms of skill knowledge and practice. We will have a lot of hours maneuvering mechs and understand how the weapons and heat and gunnery works. one for one we will be much more skilled and unless they add another 4 or 5 mechs before launch (which they don't have the time to do if they want this game to work) we already know the mech invariant we like the most so we will grind strait to ole' trusty and they will have to learn slowly and try many things. This will mean that the founders and beta testers will be twice as lethal we are used to playing against other founders and beta testers. the people in their first few games are going to get chewed up pretty bad. Just think back to your first few games till you got some hints and tips. and until a couple of weeks ago we had a dev sponcered TS.... so everyone was in there lots of information going back and forth. The new players wont have that till they get in a merc company or find a house chat. I think the devs need to adjust the new echonomy so its more reasonable for new players.... pump out some mechs in the next month or so and launch this .. the longer they wait the more board i get and the less likely the fan base waiting for F2P to launch will be interested or willing to put money into it. they are walking a fine line and could easily make a wrong step that could cost them a hit game.

I agree with you that we in the Beta program, whether its those of us that got a Beta Key in the early days (like me) or those who bought their way in after, will have a skill advantage, both in game piloting/gunnery/heat management/weapons range & effectiveness knowledge advantage, but also in the Mechbay as well, as far as having practiced spending c-bills, so when it goes live, we will be more efficient in our purchases.
But all of this info, all of this tribal knowledge is available in the forums, all of us have shared just about every aspect of the game here. So when someone like this comes here and trolls like that, we all should have responded with a simple "read the stickys, rad the forums, after you've done that, then come back and tell us how you feel". Cuz 90% of what he said would have been debunked. and we wouldnt have wasted 47 posts on this guy.
I propose that for these troll-like topics, one response and one response only:
Please read stickys and use the search function for your questions first before posting.

New players will begin the game playing vs new players. Veterans will play vs veterans. Exactly how this system works, that's what we're testing here in beta. However the devs seems to have lost their list of priorities because clearly getting the RnR dialed in/adding more content is more important than the MATCHMAKING system.
