[Wipe Out]

Will House (or Clan?) allegiance in your profile have any bearing on the overall experience? Will it determine who you fight with/against, which models are available to you, and if any Inner Sphere news pertaining to that faction is released, does it effect you? Apologies if this has been covered, I'm just getting very excited about the game and BT history and wondering how much the events unfolding effect our battles and options.

Well, in the very least, it will determine who you'll fight, who you'll fight them with and what mechs will be easily accessible.

For instcance, if you like FRR, found a good group there to play with (or just like those guys in general) and like their mechs (Jenner, Dragon, Commando, basically a mix of Kutitan and Steiner ones), then it's teh right choice for you.

I'd love to have a Ghost Bear insignia on my Mech while I blast the scrap out of my Enemies.

I always thought Smoke Jaguar had a kinda cool insignia too, but it is much more tempting to go with a stronger clan. To be honest, IS-wise I'm kind of partial to the Capellan Confederation and FRR for reasons I can't entirely put my finger on. I think Davion, Steiner, Kurita feel so well-established and strong that my impulse is to pick the underdog and/or crazy factions. I normally wouldn't be drawn to an autocratic, bizarre place like Capellan Confederation but maybe it's the cool emblem or just the chance to fight for the honor of glorious Space-China ruled by a ******* crazy dictator that has me tempted. As to their mech selection, that I don't know.
