Which Mech types will we see in the game, is there a list of mechs or a page showing the mechs that we will see in the game?

It ovbious. We will see bipedal lights, mediums, heavys and assaluts, just like in previous games.

I just checked the FAQ and they're at the moment, not following up with Combined Arms.

Uhm, not trying to be sarcastic or anything but I was hoping for a list of mech names: Cougar, Atlas, etc...

heh if ya want combined arms, try MWLiving Legends mod for Crysis.

For now, all indications are pointing to this being purely a Mech game.

As far as I know, the only ones announced so far have been the Jenner, Atlas, and Hunchback. We will be starting in the year 3049, so that might help narrow things down for launch time.

Thus far the only mechs we know of are the Atlas, Hunchback and Jenner.

The only confirmed mechs at the moment are the Atlas, Jenner, and Hunchback. While there will be other mechs, these are the only ones confirmed this early in the process. From what I understand they're taking a REAL hard look at the "unseen". Me, I think I'm going to go Whitworth if it's available.

There have been several threads created for this topic. I would suggest looking at TRO 3039 and 3025 for the more common 'Mechs you may see in game. There will more than likely be rarer 'lostech' 'Mechs in some armies. You can also expect to see some 'Mechs from the TRO 3050 showing up, but only the IS models.

I'm hoping they'll do a mech reveal each week.

Personally I'm hoping for the Grasshopper, always my favorite mech in BattleTech but never having been featured in the Mechwarrior games (maybe in a MW4 expansion, not sure).

The Cougar being a Clan mech you shouldn't count on it. However, the developers clearly mean to include the Clans in a future update, otherwise they wouldn't have placed the game at the treshhold of their invasion.

I'd love to see some quad 'mechs. Not sure if I'd use them too much, but I always thought it'd be cool to be able to try them out if the devs made them work
