League main site is up and open for registration, access to the league pages are currently hidden from view as we continue to test all the coding and layout behind the scenes.
We need help creating rules for the games we will support. The big one we need help with is a Planetary league for MCG and MW4. We will have an interactive planetary map as well as pencil and paper style functionality.
You can challenge other teams and schedule matches as well as on the fly league matches. The ladder requirements cater to smaller teams but allow larger games. We will also have prize tournaments, premium pool tournaments and freeroll tournaments.

Anyone good with interactive 3D star map creation? Macromedia Flash?
Currently I am working with Hexographer as a means of creating a star map, but would love to get something 3D that can connect to a sql database.

Still looking for admins / moderators as well as team leaders to help develop rules and start teams.
The big one is Planetary, I did the best I could on the PL rules but need additional insight.

Why start a new league for MW4? the MWL is still up and running and i don't see the point in any MWL team moving over.

Why ?
1. Not everyone that plays in MWL actually likes MWL, they just need an alternative to move on from MWL.
2. We are an alternate to MWL, and our rules and game play is similar to MW4 Vengence League from back before the MSN Gaming Zone closed.
3. Our league actually allows bidding and open non scheduled matches to be played on the fly. We encourage the use of Game Ranger (clone of MSN Gaming Zone).
4. We are allowing the addition of any game as long as there is player suport. We aren't locked into JUST MW4. i.e.- If the players want a Counter Strike ladder, we will create and support it if there is enough players to do so.
5. We will be hosting premium paid tournaments with a winners brackets and a losers brackets. The thought has been thrown around for some time and debated, but no league has ever adopted it. More details will be posted via our forums and how you and your team can sign up.
Back to your initial question, MWL is like pretty much dead. Their forums and any site function tied in with their forums (uses ikonboard) is broke and has been broke for the past week or so. Some teams are refusing to fight matches until this problem is resolved. MWL hasn't even informed it's members of what is going on and thus is assumed they simply do not care or do not intend to fix it. So to sum it up, options are always a great thing. As long as their are ACTIVE people willing to make and run leagues for ANY game, that game has the ability to continue on. It's when the leagues stop caring that players in those leagues will move on in my opinion.
So sign up, give it a looksy and a chance, you may enjoy it much more than you did other leagues.

Been a while since I've posted, so far things are going great! League has come a long way and even been working the Planetary stuff with a semi working Alpha available to view by members.
Helps us out and register. We need admins and moderators, and just some input on the rules, etc.
