Who can't wait for Farcry 3? I am pretty sure the game is coming out in September sometime of this year. I used to have Farcry 2 and I liked it a lot. Post your feelings below.

I'll buy it, when it comes out. I thought Far Cry 2 did a really good job on graphics for its era. Better really than some of the stuff released after it.

I will not be buying it. Far Cry was good, Far Cry 2 less so, and Far Cry 3's trailer has dubstep so I'm not going to bother, in protest against headache-inducing soundtracks (at least in trailers, eeech).

I'd give it a chance if there's a demo though.

I'm not that much interested in it.

The presentation ruined it for me. He said: "It's a normal guy like you and me and so he can't go and kill Rambo style", while showing a footage where he backstabs a man in full gear, commando style, then hits another guy about 75 m away with the same knife in the middle of eyes, while getting the gun from the first one and killing more than actual Rambo with it.

Good old Far Cry was better. It was a challenge, not this purple garden they call "Far Cry successor".

far cry 2 had sooo much driving, the mission goal was ALWAYS across the map :/ i didn't even get around to finishing the game. it looks like they have addressed that in FC3 though. do they still use the original cry-engine? also they need to fix the lame gore effects

I thought the driving made it feel more realistic. If you are stuck in the jungle/savannah on a map several miles wide, do you really want to walk everywhere?
