Lyran forever! (do not, err don't look at my name! Don't do it!)

Although Lyrans and Davions are two separate peoples, is it not joyful that they have come together to create the most powerful nation in the Inner Sphere? The joining of the two great houses marks a new beginning of an era of prosperity and new technology.

And together, we can crush those who oppose us!

We are Lyrans, but we stand united with house Davion to rule the Inner Sphere!

I could't agree more!
The FedCom treaty benefits both realms, as we can coordinate our forces against our common enemy, the Draconis Combine.

Blasphemy!!! Who are you to say our beloved Archon is dead?! It's only 3049 and even the Fox is still alive.

Yes, but Katharina died in 3040. Melissa is our Archon now :)

Oh I'm pretty sure his ancestors were part of the glorious nation. Till the dragon attacked during the 1st Succession War with slaughter and bloodshed - remember skondia. They killed millions and "captured" those now barley populated planets.
We brought them back into the realms of the LC during operation "Goetterdaemmerung" but those politicians betrayed us again. I heard whispers about '34 we gave planets away our brave soldiers capturerd with there blood?
We gave planets away...so that the snakes got more and better mechs?

These platitudes and bickers are pointless. All the denizens of the Lyran Commonwealth are Lyrans, whether they choose to be or not. We look to our Steiner Archons to lead us and protect us with the LCAF, of which, all of you are members. Unless you're not. And if you are not, then you are soon to be added to the LCAF confirmed kills. Until then, I hoist a stein to prosperity and the call of battle.

I would imagine that the LCAF High Command - which is really more the AFFC High Command, these days - mightn't look too highly upon those who bear the LCAF's mailed fist adding to their confirmed kill lists those who bear the sword-and-sunburst of the AFFS... :D

Then don't find yourself in the way of the Lyran Steamroller when it hits the field. The alliance is unofficial currently, and until told otherwise, I will continue to accomplish my objectives with the utmost ferocity and violence.

"In early 3041, the AFFC High Command was ready to take command of both militaries, and the Armed Forces of the Federated Commonwealth formally came into being on the first of April, 3042."

"With the creation of the AFFC in 3042, Ran Felsner became the first Marshal of the Armies. His acceptance by and work at coordinating Lyran and Davion forces made him the logical choice."

"Ran Felsner retired from the AFFC in 3049.
He was succeeded as Marshal of Armies of the AFFC by Morgan Hasek-Davion."

While some parts of the political element of the alliance may yet be unofficial (namely, that whole single-ruler bit), the combined military has been around for a while (nearly a decade, in-universe) at this point. ;)

It's cool. ;)

Though, I'm sure that there are some Snakes (the red ones, not (so much) the green ones) and some Violet Pigeons that could use some... attention? :o

Your ruling family must be atrociously fond of molesting the general populace considering how many Steiners I've seen out there.

We have a really good thing going with the FedCom. Too bad a power-hungry b*tch will ruin it around 20 years in the future.

Lyran through and through, I think Davion had to start a war with the Capellans because Melissa said she wanted their wedding night to end with a Big Bang, and this was the only way it was likely to Happen

Lyran, Not Steiner

Friends, Lyrans, Landsleute, pray attend.

Though we find ourselves in the so-called Federated Commonwealth, under the thumb of the Davions, we are not Davions, nor are we Fed-Commers.

We are not Steiners, either. That is the name of our ruling family, who we love and follow, and who have led us to great prosperity and peace, but they are not us, and we are not them.

We are Lyran, and that is a thing to be proud of. Honor our predecessors: the Tamar Pact, the Federation of Skye, and the Protectorate of Donegal.

I call upon each of you to rise up, fellow Lyrans, to reject the identity forced on you by Davion hegemonists, and to embrace your true identity.

Sounds like some one is less than loyal to the realm. Loki will not be best pleased. But do not worry not being Lyran I wont tell anyone. Letting your nation tear itself apart from the inside shall be of benefit to the rest of the Sphere.

All role-playing aside, has PGI actually mentioned anything about how they are going to deal with faction vs faction in CW when Steiner and Davion actually form one super-faction in the Federated Commonwealth?

Edit: I use 10th Lyran Guard Colors on all my mechs even though I am of the "Davion (Fed Suns)" faction.
