Atlases and Annis complain about being left behind in this game and you want bigger n slower?

To each his own. People gotta realize leaving the Assaults to get light mobbed is not winning.

Well...yes. It is not the Atlas and Ani Battlemechs that are the problem on most maps, but rather the effin (insert fitting derogative of your liking here) ppl that make every battle a nascar and every map a play of runaround like a bag of headless chicks.
And let me tell you the closer you get to t1 the worse it gets.

Mechs in MWO are way to fast and get far less hinderance by environment, innertia, gravity and all the other stuff going on than they should.
Drive an Atlas at 32 kph cruising speed through a concrete wall and he won't slow down much, but try that with a jenner and the little jerk will simply get his nose caved in, sheer his arms of when he tries to peenetrate the wall or just loose his leggs.

or alternatively, make the super rare mechs loyalty only. Too late for some of these examples... but for instance the fafnir for stiener, templer for davion, blood asp for jaguar, etc. You can only buy or purchase them if you have level 10-20 on that particular faction. This would bring back loyalty in a big way, and also ramp up Fwar as peeps would war constantly to get the super rare chassis.

Some special variants could be unlocked upon reaching a certain level in a faction in FP... that would be good.

I like the thoughts of Loyalty Omnimechs based on Clan Loyalty.

Well, I don't like barring off mechs to people, but I do like the idea of free faction camos as rewards in FP. You know, for mechs used most by factions in MWO, like a Ghost Bear Kodiak reward, a Wolf Linebacker reward...

You are not barring off anyone. There is no paywall. It's simply giving people a reason to stick with one faction for an extended period.

You'd *hate* my original idea; When you join a faction, you *have* to use certain faction-specific STOCK mechs until you get to Level X and you are allowed to bring your own. This is probably slightly closer to lore and prevents gratuitis hopping. Heck make it so that you have to use those stock mechs for your 10 probation matches if you ever leave and come back too.

True... I hadn't considered Quick-Play. And thinking about it, I already use certain Mechs only when I play with certain factions.

Behemoth is the inner sphere name for the Clan Stone Rhino. Just like Loki is the inner sphere name for the Clan Hellbringer. The Behemoth or "Amaris' Folly" was a super-heavy (110 ton) 'mech that never made it to production. You will not see an inner sphere Behemoth in this game if the developers stay true to lore.

http://www.sarna.net...hino_(Behemoth)

That says it is 100 tons, not 110.

But the Clan Stone Rhino is an 100 tons Mech! The Clans takes the Blueprint´s and i mean one Prototyp, of the Behemoth or "Amaris´Folly" and make it new with Clan-Tech and Named it Stone Rhino. Problem with the Behemoth was, that the Builders choose a to small Engine, so the Prototyp can not Walk. But the Star Leage Battelforce take´s one or two Prototyps and the Blueprints, to their Exodus.Posted Image

I have an idea to solve the "rare" problem of adding the Stone Rhino to MWO. Make it so only Dev's can pilot the mech...Sad that "we" can't pilot it but cool to see on the battlefield as a Dev mech.

Maybe we'd actually see a dev in-game...

I have never killed a Dev. Do they still have a Bounty on their heads?
