Personally i like both the Dervish and Kintaro, but i lean more to the Kintaro with the Narc beacon.

This is a great Mech, and I am sure that FD can make it look incredible. I am really hoping to see this redesigned.

50 rounds of SRM-2 fire is one ton of ammo; you can't split it any finer for missiles.

Hrm. Looking at the design, yeah, you've got 4 locations with ammo. Not a brilliant move, actually. The 7D puts all the ammo in the side torsos (with CASE); that's a more survivable but you'll still lose the arm with an ammo brew-up. Let's face it, without CASE an ammo explosion is pretty much the death of the 'mech if it happens early.

Oh, and EDIT: Even with the ammo spread, I have to go Dervish.

Sig says it all. Yes, the Dervish as an unfortunate tendency to explode....but that's what taught me the principle of "calculated risk" in MegaMek.

...Though I'd also like it if Alex could remake the Kintaro into something less hideous. Even without the NARC launcher, I can think of few things on the battlefield that would be OK with three SRM-6s opening up on them.

I absolutely agree! I missed the Scorpion on the list.
A redesigned Scorpion by FD would be nice, cause they are also a part of BT and the current canon era fits perfectly to some of the classic quad-designs (Scorpion, Goliath, Tarantula).
