Just say no to Hoplites.

Don't we have enough medium mechs with autocannons and LRMs? Seriously...

The three choices are all retarded. The Griffon and the Shadow Hawk are my choices from the TR:3025

Maybe if they didn't LOOK so retarded, I could consider piloting one. I hope this pole is a joke.

Regarding the Huron Warrior, it doesn't EXIST yet is what Adridos means. Canon-wise, you have to look only at pre-clan invasion stuff. Anything before 3048.

Yeah, couldn't find a date of production for it but I figured since it packs a Gauss rifle chances were pretty slim for it to be pre 3049 design. Oh well, at least I didn't ask for a MadCat *ducks behind cover*

Devrish, though when I read '55-ton mech' My hands were ready for 'Griffin'

Griffin is my favorite mech, though the basic-tech version has some issues lacking. Slap on some double heat sinks, a Clan ER PPC, max out armor and maybe have some left over for the Artemis IV system and the Griffin is a thing of beauty.

Someone tell the Devs. to get busy, quit slacking, and give us all three.

Variety is the spice of life, and I can see a place for all three of these mechs. Each has their place and if you put them in different situations, each has a chance of coming out on top of the other two. That is called balance.

Three mechs with three variants, giving me a nice range of nine mechs to look over and tailor to the mission at hand. I can see myself having fun for a long time with this weight class, IF I had all three.

Make it happen Paul.

Would it help if I said please?

Ok my major hang up with the Dervish is that SRM2s are essentialy useless weapons systems on anything but a light mech. Putting two SRM2s on a mech is criminally stupid when you can save weight, heat, and space with an SRM4. Sure you get more reloads with the srm 2 but if you're worried about running out of ammo take a freaking beam weapon?

Sorry Dervish, the Kintaro gets my vote. If you're going to Boat... Boat it up man. 3 SRM6 racks? Yes please. It has a higher damage potential than the Dervish, same top speed, and is comprably armored. The only thing you lose out on is jump capability, and we all know jumping is for those not graced with actual talent in piloting a Mech.

I have to say, this version I kind of like:

It has some kind of Metroid style going on in this picture. Looks like Samus Aran's shuttle on legs.

The other designs, aswell as the other two 'Mechs are very ugly to me. I wouldn't want any of them.
There is good ugly, like the Annihilator, and then there's bad ugly, like the Urban 'Mech. The three of them all fall into the second category for me.
Save for the above artwork.

Kintaro would be cool I think... :D

I'm starting to think we won't see ANY of the "Unseen" designs until the
effective 3067 timeline "Project Phoenix" designs come out for the Fed-Com Civil War.
That's somewhere...2030 or 31 somewhere?

So stop asking for them. :)

Unseen designs COULD be seen. They just have to be re-designed a little, like in project Phoenix. Canon and billions of mechwarriors everywhere know they exist, but some people want to make us pay for the truth. SO, why not just tweek the Unseen mechs a little to satisfy copyright issues? The only reason the project Phoenix mechs became project Phoenix mechs was so that the past could be resurrected. It's ART, right?

Then we could have our favorite mechs back. The project Phoenix mechs look pretty good! And I think that type of tweeking will satisfy all be the most hardheaded players. The clix version of the warhammer is pretty freakin awesome! The Rifleman, Locust, Battlemaster, Stinger, Marauder IIC and the GRIFFON are worth a look too. Some of them are a little odd looking because of scale or crappy sculpts like the Wasp, Thunderbolt, Phoenix Hawk and Marauder II, BUT, they tried and in many cases, were able to resurrect the past. The two clix versions of the Atlas also look radically different that the concept art for MWO, so don't count out the unseen mechs, damnit!

Honestly..NONE OF THESE. Wolverine, Shadow Hawk, Griffin would be my choices..or the OLD 55 ton Gladiator..or Cronus. If I HAD to choose..dervish..but we don't need another missile boat

I can't vote since I have no Facebook account.

I'd say the Kintaro.

- Gives us a TRO:2750 design in the medium bracket.
- Great hardpoints
- Dervish is great, but a little vanilla. Almost nothing separating variants.
- Yes, medium jumpers are nice, but I'd rather a faster 40 skirmisher like the Vulcan or Clint as the next medium jumper.
