So, according to this article, MWO will have two targeting reticules. How will that work? I only have one mouse, and unless everyone buys a mouse and a joystick and uses them in tandem, I can't see how feasible this will be.

I'm thinking that there may be 1 fixed reticule, and 1 floating - the fixed covers any of the hard-mounted weapons (torso/head) and fires directly forward, while the floating covers any arm-mounted weapons. This may make it a bit interesting for those of us who play Mouse/Keyboard, but... it'll be a learning process, I think. I just don't want to have to have a joystick, a mouse, AND a keyboard going at the same time...

Though foot pedal turning... hrm...

It was already explained by a developer:

Head (free look) is toggled, when you release the toggle, you snap back to the torso heading. Your mouse moves the torso (yaw/pitch).

I feels pretty much like every other MechWarrior game, except for the minor lead time we've added. For an example on how this looks an feels think Metroid Prime for Wii.

The cursor for the arms follows the head, so when you toggle freelook, you toggle the arms, essentially.
