After going through the list of Federated Suns commands on Sarna.net and the forum here, I'm curious as to whether there are any player-run groups based on the following units:

1st Federated Suns Lancers
1st NAIS Cadet Cadre
3rd Davion Guards
20th Avalon Hussars
39th Avalon Hussars
42nd Avalon Hussars
McKinnon's Company

I'd also be interested in knowing if any of these (along with the player-run groups based on the 2nd Davion Guards, Davion Heavy Guards, or Team Banzai, among others) are both still looking for players and expect to be active mainly during the evenings relative to Eastern US time.

Also, is there some "master list" of player-run groups based on AFFS units and FedSuns-affiliated Merc Corps and/or what Faction units people will be looking to join (as the one at MWOWiki seems somewhat sparse)?

i know of the 1st federated sun lancers as a player group but not sure on the others. i feel hurt you left out my 1st robinson rangers lol

I've been trying to spearhead a movement to gather players who are interested in the Davion Brigade of Guards. As you can see by my sig, I'm interested in the 1st Guard myself, but I have a whole set of sigs for anyone interested.

I meant no offense - I just listed the ones that stood out to me at the time (as I hadn't - and haven't yet - read up on all of the AFFS units' Sarna entries), though the 1st Robinson Rangers do also meet some of the criteria I was looking for (AFFS (or AFFS side of the AFFC) unit, not pro-Katherine (as near as I can tell) during the FedCom Civil War, and having an interesting and storied history, among other things).

Looking over the Rangers' site (particularly the rules and regulations) and given our proximity (which should usually address the issue of being online at the same time as others), I must say that I would consider the Rangers...

(Though, I must confess that I find myself strangely drawn to the NAIS Cadre... )

First Ceti Hussars would be a good one in my book.

Well there is also the 1st Kestrel Grenadiers. We are a Pro - Victor unit during the Civil War and according to the history pretty kick *** between the Clan Wars and the Jihad.

We are activly recruiting right now and almost all current members are EST.
