F2P and MMOs seem to be the new game format "du jour" for 2012...

If you look at the stable of products that are due to release between now and 2013, it appears nearly 1/3rd of them are an online entity.

While I understand the economics and appreciate the fact that in some instances parallel / similar games actually strengthen player-bases to both games... That said, I can't help but feel a little claustrophobic with this new crop of Mech games and would actually prefer a smaller bump to the genre...

I've seen too many times in the past where these saturations can also fracture potential player-bases because they create zealotry that causes contention between the difference games....
