To Jump or not to Jump that is the question.

We saw a little snippet of them in the trailer so are any of you going to have jumpjets on your mech?
Do you love em or hate em?

I have a Love/Hate relationship with JJs. As I think most people should, if they are done correctly.
MWLL , IMHO, seems to do them justice. They are very very useful traversing rough terrain, gaining height, etc. But there's a noticeable pause on landing. You cannot immediately start moving after a jump. Your 'mech takes a few seconds to land, and gain its balance before you can attempt to move.
They are useful in battle, and in scouting. But not so very overpowered.

In many table-top games Jump-jets really give you an edge in maneuverability, I hope this will be rendered well with MW:O.
Using jump jets to get to hard to reach hiding spots, shower the enemy with LRMs, get out fast when cornered by a Commando!
I have high hopes that we will finally be able to DFA effectively! (or at least jump above the enemy, land behind him and BAM it him the flank!)

I'm guessing this is an assumption on your part. We have no idea how much control we'll have over our flight path using JJs yet. I hope it's similar to the TT where they add a great deal of maneuverability and allow you to change direction and facing during the jump. I'd be highly disappointed if you can only jump up or in a straight line.
Bring on JJs, and let them actually work as intended.

Yah in mw3 the utility was huge. Learning to shoot in the air is just another skill

Hopefully not. In Battletech you had an accuracy penalty for firing while in the air. Plus, if combat were easier from the air, why have ground pounders in the first place?

IMO, JJ's will be useful as far as navigating terrain and getting yourself to advantageous locations (or attempting DFA's) as well as decreasing the ETA to locations by jumping barriers which would otherwise force players to take a specific route.
But in battle, I can't see their use. The shaking from the thrust would really throw off your aim to the point where it might render you less combat effective and the linear path you take while airborne is easy for the enemy to lead since you cannot shift your flight direction into other vectors.
In the latest trailer a mech is seen jumping onto a building and then the mech you see being controled blows up that building with missiles.
