Mini cameras to see rear view.
Vibration sensor, if you are standing still and not moving.
AI, feedback voice informing you of target lock and damage.
AI, feedback voice informing you of your damage and critical breaches to your mech.
Hire Hanger Crew, which can salvage your kills from battle field.
Hire Hanger maintenance staff, will decrease costs of repair to mechs.
Pilot Video recorder, but showing battle from sat view for after battle information.
Pilot's. At the moment revolves around 1 char, change this so your can run a mech warrior team, and build up there stats, Hire and Fire etc,,,

Hero mechs would be changed
Instead of making them same as basic C bill classes they would be unique models only attainable with MC funds. Instead of requiring 3 variants to skill them up I would allow them to skill up all trees with only the hero variant
I would lower the cost on the mechs somewhat MC wise.
Example: Want a cool King Crab from the Com guards? There is only one variant of that the Hero version cost 3500 MC. Want King Crab you must spend MC.
Want the clan mech Viper when it roles out 4000 MC only way to get the Viper spend MC etc etc
Lower the MC cost of the mechs and Hero mechs do not have other variants. Yes dampens the game somewhat but things like a Gunslinger or the Fed's Falconer mech would be mech that people might drop 6 bucks extra month for to add to their bay as virtual item.
Standard mechs could still be bought with Cbills and keep them rolling out so there is huge selection but if you want something unique you got drop some MC on it. Lower cost but increase demand.
The formula I would use be more like One hero mech released and one stand c b ill mech released at the same time. Example when I released the Hero Highlander the standard C bill mech would released at the same time would been the 3 variants of a Zeus or maybe a Cyclops. This would give people incentive to earn c bills to keep up the standard mech but also ensure they want keep collecting the cool new hero mechs that roll out.

If your game is choppy then you need to upgrade your computer. This game runs great on mine. This game has the best graphics as far as all the MW games are concerned. Sure there are a few things that need some work but that is why this is in BETA... IMO since mw2 mercs the series has devolved. This version is finally bringing the series back to life.

For instance, I would love a hero Stalker 3F, since that is the mech I am enjoying most right now. However, I don't exactly want a new mech as much as I want "hero status" on my current mech.
I would pay to have a module that allows me to yell commands or taunts from my mech. Shouting "go right!" before we swing left or shouting "Ha ha ha haaaaa!" right before stepping up over a hill to let loose a barrage on the enemy... it's this sort of stuff that would convince me to spend money. Decorating my mech with paint and bobble-heads just doesn't do it for me.
I would also pay money for an in-game software hook into Ventrilo for clan play.
The last thing I would definitely pay money for: team registration. I know we can arrange teams outside of the game with our clans and such, but it would be even better if we could register a number of players as a team and then have team-specific stats for matchmaking. It would require separate matchmaking and stats systems to really work well, but that's why I would be willing to pay for the registration.

Also I like the idea of buyable hero mechs or being able to buy mechs with mc instead of having to grind for them but 15 to 30 dollars for a mech is insane. You need to lower your prices. Alot.

Let me change my pilot's outfit and see it during start-up sequence.
I am thinking khaki pants, Hawaiian shirt and sandals for the summer.
with the hula girl on dashboard and a couple coconuts replacing the fluffy dices.

Cammo Patterns (Unlocks only)
Colors
Hero Mechs
Mechbays
Will eventually:
Premium time
Will if added:
Different weapon visual effects
Mech cosmetic changes (alternate heads/etc)
I played TF2 for quite a while (over 1500hrs), I am completely willing to pay money for things like "strange weapons" or "unusual effects".

omg, you guys from the general forums are hilarious. you talk like you were on the verge of toppling a dictatorship. don't delude yourself, the people on the forums myself included ARE the vocal minority. the people who have complaints make up most of the forum community. why? because people who have complaints tend to complain, where the people who like everything and think it is all fine actually play the game. as an illustration, when was the last time you saw this or any other forum spammed with "thank you", "good job", or "everything is perfect carry on" threads, now how often do you see complaints of some flavor get spammed AS SOON AS there is a change. <-hint: i just quoted one.

1) Custom Decals. Let's face it, people want custom decals. But nobody (few people) want to see some guy's... member painted onto a mech, or Naruto (not that I don't like it, mind), or something of the sort. The answer is surprisingly simple. Make it so that custom decals can be uploaded, but they have to be approved by a moderator first. So let me write out a little scenario of how it could work.
i) Select to upload/purchase a custom decal.
ii) Try to submit it. If it's the wrong filetype, wrong number of colors, wrong resolution, etc., it will be automatically rejected.
iii) Select a color for the alpha channel. Or use some build-in tool to overlay an opacity, or whatever.
iv) Pay $2.
v) A moderator will approve or disapprove the image. If the image is disapproved, he may give a suggestion on how it should be changed to for approval. Is the quality too lacking? Is it too close to something popular from another franchise? If the disapproved image is edited appropriately, upon the next upload no payment would be required.
vi) The custom decal can now be placed on any of your assets just like a normal decal.
vii) The alpha channel can be edited afterward, but nothing else.
viii) If the image needs to be updated, it can be for another $1 and another approval. The new version will replace all old versions.
2) Cockpit accessories. Me and Bitey were having a conversation in another MechWarrior game today, and he said his cockpit would be filled with trash if he were actually a mechwarrior. You know, empty bottles, candy wrappers, etc.. He said he'd love it if he had to dig through all the trash to find the eject lever, and he'd be willing to pay for it in MWO. I didn't know if he's gonna post in this topic, so I may as well throw it in here.
i) This could be combined with the previous suggestion to allow 3D-modeled objects to be used in your cockpit. They would never need to be uploaded to any other players because they're in a cockpit, so it wouldn't be a problem with bandwidth. MWO would just verify the file with what had been uploaded and approved (for maybe $4, since it's a bit more work to check the multiple textures, shapes, etc.) before each mission.
3) Music. MechWarrior II had a bonkers-awesome soundtrack. I want another one, but with longer tracks. Give a bunch of stock tunes, and as the musicians make more, make us pay for them if we want to hear them in-game. It could be set to automatically lower the volume when in-game voice is being used, or TS3, or something.
Come on, guys! Let's get creative for them. List things you want to or wouldn't mind paying for, not things you dread buying.
I've a great thing I would pay for.. the devs... wait here me out this is a bit far fetched you see..
Doing their jobs and bug fixing and balancing the game properly!
I know, I know it's asking a lot..
but well what can i say i'm an optimist.

Example 1. I paint my whole mech black but want the right arm and the left leg to be painter red...give me that option.
Example 2. I have just bought and placed the tiger camo pattern on a mech right. So now let me go a bit farther and only put that pattern on parts of that mech. So again, if I want the mech to be all black with its head and arms just in the tiger camo pattern... Let me.
