The best way they could get people what they want and not worry about making tons of Merch that ends up not moving is to hold polls or get community feedback on what would sell well. Most of the time that's shirts and apparel, but I'm sure some other things could move well.

I can't see the replay value on SP or CO-OP being anywhere as near as MP, and AI programming takes a while to implement, not to mention all the resources they would have to create such as maps, art/model assets, voice work. If they were going to do so, it would probably cost around the price of an expansion pack.

Hey! Expansion Packs! Isn't that what they called store-bought DLC? They had SO much more content than DLC today.... poor expansion packs.

Depending on the licensing rights one could envision a FigurePrint of your favorite customized 'Mech sitting on top of the desk rather than an image on your desktop. Or a poster of it with custom House and/or unit logos.

But again, depends on the licensing rights PGI bought. If they cannot make a PS3 port then it makes one wonder what other restrictions they were handcuffed with.
