That Breaks the Business model.
Breaking the Business Model = No more content
No More Content = No Mechwarrior
Because no Money Means no content creation.
Someone Failed Economics...
I'd pay for a Key Unlock
IE: Key for Sabotoge mode unlocks the Sabotoge Game Mode
The price could vary on the amount of maps available/the Stability for the game mode
+the Unlock is permanent
+There is a Temporary Time Cheap Key (price may very depending on the Month)
+Premium Time Allows Access to all game modes
+Game Mode Key Unlock is proportional to the Content it contains. (ever changing price to the amount of maps available) ---Buy it Early for cheaper gets more expensive over time.
The Default modes being Team Death match, Assault Mode, Conquest, Solaris Elimination always being free.
+I'd pay for my Pilot to go Commando in my Commando :|
+I'd pay for a 2nd Arkab Uniform
+I'd pay for a 3rd person RPG-ish Style Role-Play Pilot lobby where pilots can roam around and chat with each other.
While they sell their Mechs Direct to other pilots (Paint unlocks won't carry over)
or they just Role Play.
+Any Gear that helps the Role playing atmosphere
I'd also pay for a Mechwarrior sound track.
Even single song Purchases or a CD Soundtrack purchase would be rad.
+Single Song Purchase
+Sound Track Purchase
+Hero Mech Soundtrack Purchase
+(Cheaper) Download Direct from Client Purchase
+I'd pay for a New Mech voice because I don't want my Giant Manly Atlas quietly flirting with me as I'm about to die.
The Game is loud now... I can't hear a female voice over the sound of the Guns. I'd Rather have a Robot voice like the Exo suits in Natural Selection 2 at least.

At 1MC per match, that's still 300 matches just to get a mech bay. It's in the thousands of matches to get hero mechs. Some people aren't going to want to play so many matches for a single mech, so they'll buy it instead. Doesn't seem bad to me.

Next I would pay for basic ammenities for example reconnect functionality incase of a disconnect and LESS disconnects!
Don't waste time on useless tchotchkie crap when you could be improving the game play... imo.
You know the basics.

Exactly, but I was thinking more in the direction of a weekly allowance. The way I imagine it, it should take one or two months of "welfare MC" to buy a mechbay, or a cheap color, or some consumables for free. A year for a large medium or small heavy. Things like that. Give the player a choice: waiting time or cash. Some might stick it out for the time needed, but most will probably succumb to temptation or impatience.
Give them enough to make it feel like they don't have to pay, but at the same time, withhold enough to make paying seem the more convenient option.

That'd be... around 30-35 MC a week, which would be a lot less than I had suggested. I can get behind that.

But a gallery of premades? I'd love to put a Steiner decal on my mechs, for example. Or a star, or kill marks. Something to customize it more than "Mine's a slightly darker shade of blue."
Low priority to things like fixing LRM clusters, but as something on the radar? Would be neat and I'd pay a little money for it.

Basically you are making it very hard on us "Little Guys"
... Please up the smaller group number from 4. Bigger matchmaking groups will help in the long run

As a founder I paid for CW but have still only recieved new mechs a hand full of maps.
I would pay for a stable game that didn't crash all the time and leave teams uneven. You know a game in progress that you could like reconnect to...
I won't pay for useless cockpit sh*t or overpriced camo/colours.
I'd like to see these mech sales you guys have grown fond of also include a discount when buying them with c-bills.
I would like to feel like the developers of a battletech game. A game I could very much enjoy didn't want to such every penny out of my lifeblood like a vampiric money grub running rampant through my wallet.

Why? You will get A LOT more MC by just going to work (any work, in fact, unless you happen to live in one of the Africa's poorest countries, but you wouldn't have internet in that case) and buying MC from they money you earn, instead of spending your time grinding the MC in the game itself, which wastes your time and does not benefit the devs in any way.

The difference is that some of us can't get jobs (no, it's not that simple, so don't try to say it is), and the money from jobs can go towards something more important, like food. You say $6.95 isn't a lot; I say $6.95 can buy a couple days' worth of food.

Instead of 1 per match, make it so you could trade GXPs for MPs at 100 to 1 or something (so to get a mech bay, you spend 30,000 GXPs for 300 MPs
Hero mechs have broken the statement in the OP that nothing would be sold that would give a player an advantage anyway...making a way to convert GXPs to MPs would bring the "No Pay to win" option back.

I want more maps so bad i'm about to .. break something of absolutely zero importance to me...
I want maps.
I can't think of anything that can save this game more than surprising us with 5 new maps.
I think PGI wouldn't sell them though because there would be smaller player pools in general as the ELO would have to hook up people who've purchased map packs but... map packs have worked for other games in the past.
in the mind of a gamer they think, "Aw, I can't go play that round with my buddy cuz I haven't bought that map." then they shell out the bucks just to end that nonsense. however there is VERY LITTLE incentive to buy a hero mech, cockpit items, or even cammos. And frankly for me at this point there's little incentive to buy premium time, and even mech bays, got 40...
I dunno, I've got some faith in the PGI team, it's just a gut feeling here. I feel they have made, and want to make an even more awesome game. I also think they've been frying big fish but MAN! I think getting more maps out there is a massive fish and we need to fry that effer up.
SELL US MAPS, JUST DO IT ALREADY. pweeeeze?

Community contributions is a pain in the a** for any game, from a legal and quality standpoint. Doubly so for a game like MWO where a lot of money is involved.
I'm sure they want to do it, but it's FAR, FAR from simple.
Contracts have to be created. People have to be made to sign those contracts.
People would probably have to give up their rights and ownership of anything they create and contribute (if you look back at the controversy created by a similar behavior, involving user-made logos and such a couple months ago, you can see how that could be a problem).
PGI has to figure out if they're going to pay contributors, and exactly how much if they do.
PGI has to create artistic and technical guidelines. They have to set people aside to go over submissions and enforce these guidelines. They'd have to deal with people whose work didn't make the cut.
I could go on, but I think you get the picture.
None of that is simple, none of it is cheap, none of it is easy.
