Maybe this has been addressed in the past, but in older MW games, you could use a joystick's thumb pad to swivel a 'Mech's arms left and right to do side shots. I'm not even sure how that worked on a mouse, but I'm also presuming that's a feature the team is well aware of and implemented, correct?

Stay tuned Brash, as they have not yet announced exactly what all controllers will be supported. Rest assured they are working on it.

Hmm.. does that mouse movement for the torso mean that you aren't able to aim with your arms/turrets only? So only way to target is to move the whole torso?

The control setup looks relatively simple so far. I can NOT wait to actually be able to climb into one of these bad boys!

Yes... also read the TRO part on the Coolant truck, it is common practice among Houses that the Coolant Truck and the MEch attached are ignored until they are uinattached and powered up... Do you think most people will do that?

If a penalty (say House Loyalty, (and no xps for the kill) as that would be considered innoble) were applied, then yes.

Pressing the C key will auto center the torso to the leg rotation. This is a convenient way to re-center the player’s view if they become disoriented.

It would be nice to be able to center legs to torso as well.
Maybe a Ctrl+C or other combo to affect this.

Also, an 'game option' to turn on an 'assist' if you don't have a right/left input after a given amount of time, then the legs will auto align to the torso...
This would be more useful for players that are not used to the concept of torso twist that otherwise get themselves in trouble.

MANY lessons have been learned thru the years of programming mech cockpit simulators and teaching new pilots the controls.

I can say that i have been a MW junkie for ever!....

I work in IT as a Director...I built my 1st PC in 4th grade to play MW2...

To see this game get a reboot that seems to be this well done is beyond any realistic hopes.

My thanks go out to the entire team and the financial backers!

Don't suppose you'll be able to set throttle control to the mouse wheel like you could is MW4 Mercs?

Very nice, Controls are real similar to MW4, now to find out what joysticks they will support, I used a Saitek set up for a long long time, it was a definate blast. Love the LOSD concept. SA and TA are going to be fun now.

The more I read, the more excited I get about this game. I can't wait to read about the mech lab.

Step two: ...

You should check the "Newbies here, pretty please", thread. :P
