Wow I just heard about MWO and came here to sign up.
Mechwarrior 3 was my fave online game (and first) and I hope that this game has the same feel to it, in MW3 it felt you was strapped in a 80ton war machine when you got hit by a volley of missiles it felt like you had.
I have played other mech games but they were too mech light if you get my drift, to arcady for my liking.
I hope this version is not just like a shoot em up with no feeling.

In MW3 I was in a clan of 10 people and we met every friday night, some of the battles lasted a long time because we had to use tactics (I was always the scout trying to find the enemy) and I will never forget on one map we couldn't find the enemy so I went running around in my raven (I think long time ago) and I jumped over this ridge to see 4 heavy mechs turning to me giving chase, I turned and ran towards my teammates shouting over here over here!! (typing of course) I was dodging lasers missiles and blew up about 500m away from my pals but I lead the enemy team into our trap :P.

Or another time when the community made a game called turkey shoot where 1 guy was in a heavy mech and the rest of us were in just our power suits (one small laser). Oh the fun :D.

Anyhow Hi all and a big thumbs up to the devs' I just hope its as good as MW3.
Cya around all ^_^

Edit: thinking back it may have been MW2...just checked yes it was in 96 or so :D

Welcome to MWO! Before you know it you will be clamoring for the devs to shut up and take your c-bills, just like the rest of us! ;)
