I prefer the Victor to the Warhammer due to the increased mobility and more manageable heat.

i choose the warhammer... its a more versatile mech at all ranges than the victor is... and seems to have a more uniform damage curve with the ability to play support or brawler

Assuming we comparing the base models of both machines, i'll take the longer range of the Warhammer over the jumping of a Victor.

Victor! in a short range map
Hammer in an open map with a very good to better pilot!
I hada Victor played for a while and standard unmodified i win 6 outa 10 times.. Modified With clan tech or even pre clan advanced tech the wins jumped up to 8 or 9 out of 10 .

Always enjoyed DFA as a last atck or even a forearm smash... to bad they say melee isnt being used yet in the game.

Warhammer would have better stand-off range and should be able to pick the Victor apart with PPC, SRM and Medium lasers. However, heaven help the Warhammer if the Victor close to AC/20 range.

The Victor would win and depending on the terrain, it would win closely or overwhelmingly. The Warhammer has greater damage at range but it is terrible at handling heat. The Victor has slightly better armor and all it would have to do is get to within AC20 range and it'd be over. If we were talking variants, then the Victor would beat the snot out of the Warhammer. The gauss rifle equipped Victor would hole the Warhammer's thin armor pretty quickly. So unless it was an open map, with the Warhammer sitting under a waterfall on top of a hill, then I think the Victor has it.

I would take a Victor out, might not have the range of a wammie, but the ac\20 is a beaut and would have no heat problems, unlike the warhammer

I chose the Victor due to jump jets and no heat issues for trigger-happy me. Not that the warhammer is bad- in a more capable pilot's hands it would win; in mine, not so much.

Victor for me, 'cause jump jets can make a huge difference in how a battle goes.

Loved th Warhammer in MW2 then Harmony gold threw a fit about it and the same models that are used in robotech. Lik the pheonix Hawk, Rifleman, Warhammer and a few others. Graphically speaking i thought FASA a whil back changed these mechs to be useable without violating the legal agreements but the warhammer in the very first intro video was obviosly not changed thus why that video was pulled a long tim ago off most sites except for youtube.

Between the default variants of VTR-9B and WHM-6R... the Victor, 'cause I'm a sucker for JumpJets.

Also, while the two PPCs can equal the output of an AC/20, they generate almost 3 times as much heat (20 to the AC/20's 7). There is a definite range advantage, the minimum range means that they're useless for close up fighting where a Victor's AC/20 will shred just about anything no matter how close it gets.

Lets see the 70 ton warhammer vs 80 ton victor. Ill go with victor. The reason, alot more firepower/armor/ammo/electronics. If it was a warhammer IIC on the other hand I would choose that over Victor.

WHM-6D. 'nuff said. Or, if you're uber-teching it. WHM-9D.
