Hmm i think its just a pilot error shurly the controls must be too advanced and the jumpship exited into a black hole or something
wouldnot happen if a Federated Suns pilot was flying it

Hey friend. You forgot some zeros behind the '5' in your price offering regarding the jump drive unit.
Just saying.
Since even the KF - Drive of a Scout class jump Ship costs roughly 165.7 million C-Bills.
(according to Battlespace construction rules a whole Scout costs 300 million C-Bills and 10 years delivery time for privat companys)
And thats without completely dismanteling and reconstructing your ship because the KF-Drive makes up 95 % of its inner volume. I would say the whole process would take 250 to 400 million CB and 2-3 years in space dry dock.
Buy a used ship. Sometimes they do some jumps before they need to be repaired again.
Or salvage one.

Sounds like pirates to me. I've already put in a suggestion to the Prince to get some ships on patrol, but no one listens to a young Mechwarrior, do they? I'm just concerned that my unit's JumpShip will get hit. Never made any sense to me that we should carry 'Mechs around in an unarmed ship... Eh, I'm sure this whole thing's an accident anyway. Happens all the time.

Let's see...they send a jumpship loaded with dropships full of goods into Pirate Land without proper escorts and end up losing it? What else is there to expect?
