It's ugly, nasty and big. it's designed for killing other mechs pure and simple. There is also lore associated with the machine. Natasha Kerensky herself piloted one of these (you may know her... I *think* she has some small association with a minor clan... hrmmmmm... Wolf I think it was?!?!?). The Bounty Hunter pilots one, Grayson Carlisle piloted one briefly. Hrmmm, the Red Duke pilots one, Cat Wilson pilots one and on and on and on... These are some of the elite names of the Battletech universe.

In the books and in lore a Marauder is something to be respected and feared; not every Tom, Richard and Harry walk around piloting one.

I'd love to see the Unseen mechs, Warhammer, Maruader, they were just so col but I understand if the devs can't work out the impossible.

Someone said Wolfhound and I really enjoyed those too.

I love the clan mechs but I hope they are held back for a while. I'd really like to have the game be the old fashioned Inner Sphere for a bit and then turn to the Clans when the devs think the game needs to be punched up a notch. It's a very different universe once the clans, with their technology, enters the picture.

in 3049...no not an automatic shudder...until someone like Natasha opens you up like a can opener with one....but in 3025 when a lot of us started our life long quest to get our own mech that we could haul around in our own Millennium Falcon, it did make people shudder, especially if the Marauder got the drop on you

If we do get one of these in game I will probably give it every thing I can, but if not I am going to probably stick to mediums and work out some good counter-recon tactics

SHADOWCAT with the proper pilot and armament and this little jewel can take out any of the original mechs in MW4! This was my favorite by far!

I am going out on a limb here and state a rare mech that hasn't been in any game i think. The Crockett, it is a sturdy mech with decent weapons and jump jets. My favorite mechs are the pillager,gunslinger, Templar, marauder,t-bolt,ceaser.
