I would like to take a little bitter side overview to what I've seen in this gameplay video.
Though I'm very much like the look of the mechs and engine's features and effects, I feel tremendously worried up by the environment. Most of the time _I__can't__feel__the__scale_. Anybody feels he is a small guy atop the giant machine? Anyone feels 10 or 12 meters below? It's because we don't have any recognizable size objects to compare with. Okay, this map is some desolate outskirts of some.. radar station or whatever.. don't they have coastal roads at all, some hunting\fishing woodhouses, bridges, boats, jeeps, wheeltracks on the ground or stuff like that? At least some fences? Any of this stuff, if looking realistic with some hint on required detail level, will immediately give you the sense of scale. Trees hardly count that much, they can be any size, and here they also stick out of water just like that. I also couldn't believe in strange crates labyrinth in the water, and the water itself shows the waves a size as if mechs were human-size, just go and look at the water from 10 meters above! I know that something can be done about this. Giant robots need the sense of height. Also hope to see some destruction on the ground) Yeah, I know it's only the first demo, right

Atlas's head seemed to blow off too easily, hope the heads won't be that easy to hit.
A bit sorry there wasn't shown any pilot free-look or action inside the cockpit, but anyway, it looks good and graphics is overall fascinating.
As for the gameplay I have no questions, it looks pretty much great.
So if you dev guys are reading this, don't be offended, you are doing a great job, but please, take it into consideration and do your best possible. We have stacks of money ready for you
P.S. Can't wait to jump into one of these monsters and go Ka-POW'ing people)
