@OP - Might want to put a disclaimer at the beginning of this thread to be careful with the drinky drink, some of these recipes are a wee bit strong and we don't want any of the kids doing the crappie flop on the floor and their parents coming after MW:O

Hmmmm...so I was going to try to actually come up with some drinks that don't taste like someone's been flushing their reactive coolant + septic tank into the same glass, but apparently (by some of these drinks) that isn't a prerequisite.

The Mercenary - Normally Mercenaries drink whatever their adversaries are drinking (or were), but if you're lost in Outreach and looking for a drink (or 5) anything you order you'll most likely just get this:

3/4 oz Everclear
1/4 oz. Tabasco

Instructions:
layer Tabasco on top of EC, drink and if you make a face, drink 2 more.

The Lone Wolf - If you're sitting by yourself amongst a bunch of MechWarriors, you'll want to draw some attention to yourself (and possibly get some work...or a beating).

1/2 oz. Dekuyper Hot Damn 100 Proof Cinnamon Schnapps
1/2 oz. Everclear

Instructions
Add Hot Damn and Everclear to a shot glass. Ignite and quickly insert a straw and drink the shot through it. DON'T suck too hard on the straw as it is possible to suck up the flame once the alcohol is gone. Don't die (or at least don't cry about it).

On a side note, this is how to give a traditional Merc Corp. welcome to a non-paying client:

1. Pretend to agree when they say the Cbills are in transit.
2. Bring them a faction drink (aka water).
3. Give them double or nothing odds on winning payment back with this game:

- Place a C-bill on the bar, tell them to put their thumbs together on top of bill and put the full (up to the rim) drink on top of their thumbs.
- Then they have to move the drink off the C-bill without separating their thumbs or lifting them off the cbill.
- Let them try for a minute, then punch them in the head, take payment.
- Prosper.

Added the drinks and rules to the OP, as well as the disclaimer!

Also: Have played that game: Gotta be faster than the punch and remember that you have other fingers besides your thumb to move that drink!

Drink: Liquid Tukayyid (use 4 oz shooter-similar to liquid cocaine)
-1 oz Jager
-1/2 oz Goldschlager
-1/2 oz Rumple Minze
-1 oz Bacardi 151
-1oz SoCo
Background: Approach drink full of confidence and looking to impress, leave with a bloody nose and desire to vomit, much like the Clans reaction to the namesake conflict
Drink when: Someone debates the timeline and how the Clans are supposed to invade months after the initial release

Drink: Katrina Steiner
-1 oz Triple Sec
-1 oz Crown Royal
-1 oz Sweet and Sour mix
-1 oz peach schnapps
Background: Tastes extremely sweet, but is deceptively potent and will sneak up and stab you in the back later in the night.
Drink when: someone says that the Awesome mech should be released next

Drink: Black Dragon (or Draconian Hot Drop)
-1 oz sake
-1 oz soy sauce
-12 ounces of Sapporo Beer
Background: Draconians are crazy
Directions: Mix sake and soy sauce in shot glass. Microwave 10 seconds. Drop shot glass into cup of Sapporo. Drink...quickly.
Drink when: Anyone worries about the mech "arms race" and balance issues.

If you don't understand the names to the drinks or how they relate to battletech, go do some research. Summer is still a couple months away

my Wife would have liked the Katrina Stiener. thanks for making me think that

Necrosia
2 shots Absinth
1 shot Sour Apple Schnapps
3 oz Club soda

To be drank when a post could be easily figured out if the OP read the Frequently Asked Questions or knew anything about Battletech

I do... but that's nothing new to me, unfortunately. I'd like to know how much my liver can handle before it goes critical :) (and no, I won't try to figure out that one using this game)

Any time someone references Ponies, Bronies, and the like in their post, down a Flamer. If it is accompanied or followed immediately by the image of an Atlas and a Firestarter lighting bronies on fire, drink a second Flamer. Simply posting the aforementioned image counts as a reference.

I don't know how I missed this one, but it is added now!

My liver went critical with the double kegger we threw last weekend. Not enough heat sinks in the world could settle down that reactor. Thankfully I was wise to stay off of here.

Never drink and pilot your battlemech. Elementals might get hurt.
Never drink and post on MWO...actually that would be quite a hilarious thread in Jettisoned Communication: Log on, post what you drank, and whatever else comes to mind.

In fact you could turn it into a drinking game:

BEAT THE MODERATOR
DRINKER EXPERIENCE LEVEL: PRO (THIS IS NOT FOR FAINT OF HEART. I'VE DONE IT)
RULES: LOG ONTO THE MWO FORUMS. GO TO JETTISONED COMMUNICATION. START A THREAD WITH A FEW FRIENDS. EVERY MINUTE DO A SHOT OF BEER, EVERY HALF HOUR A SHOT OF VODKA, AT ONE HOUR SELECT A MIXED DRINK. TWO HOUR TIME LIMIT. EVERY TIME PAUL COMMENTS DRINK.
WINNING CONDITIONS: MAKE IT TWO HOURS WITHOUT HAVING A MODERATOR DELETE YOUR POST OR LOCK THE THREAD.

WARNING: NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR INDIVIDUALS WHO ATTEMPT THIS. THE MODERATORS MIGHT NOT BE SO KIND...

***Btw thats an estimate 14 beers, 2 shots, and a mixed drink in two hours. Don't try this if that doesn't describe a typical Friday night for you.

Who needs a game to drink?

Heres the manly way to play a drinking game: get together in a large, racous group, and everybody drink till you pass out. Last man standing wins, sorta.
