Likes: BattleMechs, watching Captain Zed vs the Snakes.
Dislikes: Moving from planet to planet so much, falling off gantries.
Writing from her perspective is awesome.

Basically, change ages to 16 at encounter, 19 at leaving, 4 years in Periphery, and 12 years in IS, making him 35.
The bandit leader, in a franken hunchie leading a bunch of franken lights. only 2 defenders got to mechs and 3 to tanks, and they managed to take down 4 before going down. 1/3 moved deeper, Altruin being at the hanger, next to the mech bays was able to get there quick. Having spent a couple hundred hours in simulators it took him a couple minutes to adjust. He took the leader by surprise, barely damaging him. Leader got cocky, told his boys to hang back while he handled it. Altruin came out on top, barely, but luckily the leaderless bandits decided not to stick around.
Jobs he generally takes are hunting bandits/criminals, defending civilian/military targers, and conducting raids on military installations. He refuses to take jobs such as assassinations, and anything involving attacking civilian targets.
He generally acts stand-offish and doubts others' abilities at first, but will warm up to them once they show him they're deserving of respect. He's fiercely loyal to his friends, tries to keep his word as best he can, and tries to do the right thing (so he can sleep at night).
Due to his years as a mercenary and growing up repairing mechs with his dad and training with the ex-mercs, soldiers, and bandits, he's a competent mechwarrior, hand to hand combatant, mechanic (mostly with respect to mechs), and of course, negotiating a price.
He has a minor quirk in that he absolutely loves jerky (preferably beef or the like) and will almost always have some on him. He will often be seen munching on it, and may offer some to others, but never take any without permission.
Thanks guys, I know I've been a bit of a hassle. Don't worry, I know you're not busting my balls. Also I grew up with 5 younger siblings, so I've got a long fuse. As GAD III said, I have some experience RPing elsewhere (mostly Star Trek, WoT, Night Angel verses), and I have read a couple of the novels, peruse Sarna regularly, and have played just about every MW game after 2. I'm always open to revisions, comments and advice, and I'm really looking forward to having some fun!

Changes sound good - I'd actually be interested in reading exactly how that combat went down, sounds like you have a whole story in your head!
Also, quick aside because I want to be the first to shameless plug this: MacabreDerek is writing a guide for RPing for new players (That even from the two paragraphs I've seen so far I've learned something from), so why not check it out everyone!
Reviews and suggestions will no doubt be welcomed (And he'll probably ask for too )
