When life gives you lemons, its best to make lemonade (or actually Limoncello would be my preference). Anyway, anything that help to not scare off new players is good for all of us. As great as this game is so far, it has quite a learning curve, especially if you were not a veteran of previous titles.

I actually don't think we will see the change this week as they had updated the status on MM Update to early November. The good news is they have committed to getting 8 premade vs 8 premade working shortly after "Phase I", so hopefully it will not be a problem for long.

Played PUG for a week or two before looking for a group. Joined up with Blackthorne's and the game became so much more awesome. Great bunch to play with, and I've been able to find a group at almost any hour. Playstyles range from the very serious and competitive to the relaxed and drunken.

Blackthornes Dragoons are seeking some European/Australian players to round out our morning (north america side) roster. Currently, we have both casuals and hard core team members that play any time between 12pm PST until late at night (around 11pm PST) and we usually have multiple groups running in these times. Personally, I also have a chance to play in the mornings, and we don't have any memebers who usually play at this time, as most are in North America, like me. That said, I would love to see us recruit more Europeans/Australians members, both casual and hardcore, to have active players to play with during these hours.This would also give us the unique abiliy to have players on at any given time of day, and if we have enough Europeans that play with us, our TS would be full almost 24/7 and you would almost certainly find a group within our company to play with no matter when you log on, because as stated before, we already have this ability, but only in the afternoon hours.

Great group of players. It's a lot of fun going to battle with people you know. The group leaders often give military like orders so it feels like your part of a 'toon. Yet, they are very friendly, patient, and enjoy helping out new players. Joining random teamspeak groups is like chat roulette, much better to play with the solid group of players at Blackthornes.

I have been playing MWO for only about a month, but I go all the way back to MechWarrior 1. I love this game, and have been waiting and WAITING for its return.The first couple of weeks I Pugged away, more often than not getting slaughtered. <chuckle> Then I looked in the forums and found this post. I checked out thier website, hopped on thier TS channel, and requested membership. I've been with Blackthornes since and its a world of difference. It's a growing unit, so it has it's shares of growing pains. But MOST importantly is that we all work together. Together to learn, together to teach, togther to win, together to have FUN.
